"So, you and Lisa are living together now?" Jisoo unnie approaches me immediately as soon as she saw me inside the elevator. She uses her hand to stop the elevator from closing.

"Yes. We just moved in yesterday."

It had been a week since Lisa and I had the conversation about moving into a new apartment together. She showed me the place and I loved it right away. Funny how our taste are alike. It's a two-bedroom apartment, very accessible at my work, and with hers too since she already started her rookie training in their company, so it's really very convenient for us.

The apartment was well furnished, but it is not as lavish as Lisa's penthouse but it's spacious enough for both of us, which is great. It has its own garage too.

"You should have told me, I should have helped both of you." she said, combing her hair with her fingers.

"It's fine. I don't have much stuff anyway."

"You know it's kinda weird. I couldn't believe that Lisa moved out of her precious penthouse. I mean, she loves that place very much! She said, she felt like a God whenever she's at the top."

Jisoo is right. I felt it too. Lisa's penthouse has a breathtaking view. You had the luxury of seeing almost 360 degree of LA.

"Which I find so great. I mean, she is learning to be responsible now. She wants to make money on her own, which is good right? She's like becoming her own person."

"Yeah, but I wonder why. Anyway, I think you are a good influence on her, I'm positively sure of that now."

"Hhhmmmm. I don't know but I'm happy for her."

"So, anyway... how about a drink later after work?" Jisoo asked, changing the topic.

"That's a great idea. Lisa told me to invite you for a drink actually. So, we're on." I said, smiling at her.

"Okay. See you later then. What department are you in now?"

"I'll be at the ICU Department." I answered.

"Uh-oh. Good luck." She said, then waves me goodbye as she walks out of the elevator to her designated floor.

As soon as I enter the ICU unit, I already heard the commotion.

"Dr.Kim, Bed 3. We need you here." The blonde hair nurse said when she sees me.

The adrenaline rush came inside me immediately as I walk fast towards bed 3.

"Ready the crash cart!" I said in loud and authoritative voice.

"Oh my God! I am so tired!" I flop myself down on the couch beside Lisa who was busy watching a movie.

"What happened?" she asks.

"Busy day." I said, and then I snatch the chips from her.

"I love this!" I praised.

"Obviously. Anyway, I'll go and take a shower. Get ready in an hour, okay?" she said as she stands up.

"What did Jisoo unnie say? Is she coming with us?"

"Yes. She had been inviting me over and over, and she was just glad that we're on for tonight." I said, my eyes on the TV screen.

"Okay. Did you tell her we're going to this new gay bar in Sta. Monica?"

I look at her with an open mouth.
