It had been 5 days since Lisa's surgery. For the last couple of days, I had the chance to talk to Dr. Jauregui and she told me what happened.

Honestly, Jisoo unnie wasn't much of a help these past few days. She was still in a shock and Lisa's parents were out of the country for a very important business meetings that they cannot drop no matter how much they wanted to stay beside their daughter but I was informed that as soon as they knew about the accident, they cancelled the least important meeting they have to go back in the here and see their daughter. They will arrive soon and I found myself dreading for that day.

So Lisa was drunk driving, as revealed by Lauren m. She clashed with another speeding car. She suffered trauma in the head, they undergo CT scan and found that there was Cerebral Hemorrhage so they did craniotomy. They found out that the bleeding was greater than 3cm so they have to do the surgical intervention right away. She was intubated to maintain her airway. She also suffered cardiac arrest two times, one in the ambulance and one in the surgical bed.

The surgery, according to Lauren, was successful. All we have to do now is wait otherwise~

No, I don't want to entertain that thought.

We will wait.

I will wait...

Lisa will wake up and come back to me.

I spent my whole day and night in her bedside. I sometimes slept at the chair beside her bed, my hand holding her hand.

I suddenly feel like I am so scared to let her hand go, no, I don't want to let her go. Not now. Not ever.

I didn't know I slept and when I opened my eyes, I felt that someone was inside the room.

It's Jisoo.

"Can we talk? I have something to tell you." Her eyes were still puffy like mine. She was looking at Lisa's unconscious body and I could say that she was trying so hard to control her tears.

I nod.

Standing up, I lean into Lisa and kiss her forehead as I whispered;

"I'll be right back, Lili. Wait for me, okay?" I said.

I developed this habit in the pst few days to always tell her to wait for me every time I leave her room.

Jisoo directed me towards her office. She still didn't resume working as evidenced by her casual clothes and state of mind and of course, the puffy eyes.

I sit on her couch while she prepares coffee for the both of us. And after a while, she offers me the cup and sits beside me.

"Jennie..." She started.

"I'm sorry..." her voice was wavering and I saw her covers her face with her hands.

"This was all my fault. I shouldn't-"

The anger in me builds up suddenly as I remember that I still didn't get the explanation that I was asking her to why Lisa end up in this situation.

"You're right! You shouldn't let her drive by herself! You should have taken care of her! You shouldn't-" I was angry. I can't help it.

"SHE WAS COMING FOR YOU! SHE WAS ON HER WAY TO FIND YOU!" Jisoo shouted at me and from the time since we knew each other this is the first time that I saw her angry. That I heard her raise her voice. She always have this light aura and sweetness so seeing her furious face taken me aback.

"What you mean? Why?" I furrow my eyebrows.

Jisoo was looking at me now, her gaze intensify as she spoke.
