I smile at my phone before turning it off, shoving it into my back pocket.

My parents are going out to California today to meet with a business that wanted to help them build their firm.

Things are going really well for them right now, and I'm super proud. Because my mom is pregnant, she's going to stop working soon. My father wanted her to stop working the second they found out but she was stubborn and refused. So now they're trying to do as much as they can so my mom can rest without worry.

Tsukishima gets back from his training camp today. He had a hard time at first because his teammate Hinata showed up out of nowhere even though he wasn't invited. He asked for my number and that was the first time we had called each other. He was so out of his element, frustrated and yelling about the situation. It was amusing, but I felt bad for him at the same time.

He said he felt like Hinata and Kageyama are always so praised and the attention is always on them, and so for him to finally get something that was only for him, all for Hinata to show up and take the attention away, was incredibly frustrating.

I told him that he should just do his best in practice to make up for it, and show them why he was invited. And to also not give Hinata a hard time. I heard he really sucks at everything other than spiking, so he probably just got excited and wanted to go in order to get better.

After that first day, we just continued to email each other and send pictures of our daily activities (and some that were not of our daily activities, if you know what I mean)

And now I'm waiting for him at the station. It's nighttime, freezing, and kind of empty.

"Eva-San?"

I turn around to see a guy who's probably around my age, and height.

"You shouldn't be here at night alone. Are you waiting for someone?"

I tilt my head, trying to put his face to a name. After a few seconds I realize I go to school with this guy.

"Oh, I forgot you don't speak much." He blushes, looking away.
