As the hours turned to days, and the days turned to weeks, I often find myself barely sleeping. With exams coming up in a while, and my Japanese still being quite shitty, I've been feeling really stressed out.If I can't learn Japanese by the time exams come up, I'll be seriously fucked.
The sound of the bell rings, signaling the end of school, and I quietly groan in appreciation. I quickly gather my things and rush out the classroom.
I have to get home really quickly so I have more time to study.
"Eva-San." I hear my name being called.
I turn around to see Tsukishima walking my way without Yamaguchi, a bunch of papers in hand.
"Hi Tsukishima-Kun." I say. "I have to get home soon. Did you need something?" I tilt my head.
"I have to get to practice as well, so I'll make this quick." He says, holding out the papers to me. "They're all the notes from our class up until now, in English so you can understand them better. I thought it would be good to have since you use your phone to translate everything, and the translations are not always good, right? And our summer exams are coming up soon so..." He trails off, looking at me.
My eyes widen and I just stare at the papers in his hands. They're all neatly handwritten, and even color coded.
"Hello?" He waves the papers.
I bite my lip in attempt to keep myself from crying as I take the papers from him.
"Tsukishima-Kun..." I sniffle. "Holy shit! Oh my god, I'm going to kiss you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been so stressed out because of that." I hold the papers to my chest, feeling so relieved.
I take off my backpack and gently place them inside between two notebooks, sighing happily.
"I figured. Get a proper rest now, okay? I have to go." He gives a slight wave and walks off without another word.
The Japanese...are so so nice. They're so kind. Oh my gosh, I feel so lucky to have met such nice friends here.
When I got home, I definitely didn't cry for half an hour...
The notes he wrote are so easy to understand, he also wrote things on the last piece of paper that I should put onto flash cards to study.
He even wrote little translations that I should memorize for whenever I see those words on our worksheets.
Tsukishima must be really smart. And he must be busy with his own work no doubt, so how did he have the time to do this? I should really pay him back. But what should I do? Hmm, should I buy a cake? Or should I bake one? What else does he like? I don't think just giving him a cake would be enough.
Today, I was able to get a good nights rest for the first time in a while thanks to him.

"Thank you for meeting me. Even....uh, even when very warm sun today." I scrunch my face up, hoping I said that right.
Yamaguchi laughs, and Tsukishima forms a small smile onto his face.
"That wasn't bad." Tsukishima says.
"Eh?" I raise an eyebrow.
"I said you need to do better." Tsukishima says in English, and I pout.
"I'm trying!" I defend myself. "Hurry and come inside before you melt." I huff out a breath, holding the door open wider.
The two boys walk in, saying their greetings before putting their shoes away.
