6: blind

The next day Taehyung was dancing to a song while walking to school with Jimin. The pink haired would often tugg his shirt to make sure taehyung kept walking staight and on the sidewalk.

"You look oddly cheerful" jimin said.

"because i am!" taehyung removed one earbud to talk to his friend. "Jungkook called me yesterday, he asked me on a date!"

"and you didn't tell me!!??" jimin shouted.

"i was asleep when you came back!"

"yea so?!"

"Jimin!"

The two stared at eachoter well Jimin was. Taehyung looked somewhere on Jimins hair.

"so when is the date?" the twp stopped shouting and were now entering the school building.

"tomorrow" Taehyung said and smiled wide. Jimin noticed and chuckled. Its been a long time since he saw his friend this happy.

"im glad you are happy Tae"

"i am, i really am feeling happy now" taehyung said the two now standing in front of their lockers.

"i hope you two will get a bond and he is good for you"

"i...I hope so too actually" Taehyung said feeling nervous and shy saying it. He liked Jungkook, even if he havent 'seen' him that much yet. It just felt right. He felt this spark, this feeling he never felt before. He knew it was right.

"okay, here is your stuff, i will go to my classes. See you at lunch" Jimin said handing taehyungs bag and walk off after getting a nod from his friend.

Taehyung just did his presentation and it went really good. The teacher helped him to get the screen working. People were impressed by his work, because he was 'the blind kid'. They didnt expect something good. Taehyung felt proud after having proven them all wrong.

Now he was heading to the cafetaria to find Jimin who would be waiting there for him.

"hey blind" someone said. Taehyung halted looking aroind trying to find where it came from.

"we are here stupid" someone said sounding somewhere else taehyung turned his head and saw a human shaped shadow. That must be the person talking.

"hey" taehyung greeted a bit cunfused. The boy sounded rude to him.

"why is a disabled boy here? You shouldnt be here. You are not normal" the boy said. Taehyungs smile and joy faded.

"I'm not that disabled. I can see shadows..."

"you are still blind and stupid. You wont pass your exam. you cant even read the questions. You cant read anything." a other person said taehyung turned his head searching for the person who spoke up. But suddenly felt a push against his back.

"see he didnt even see you" the other boy said With a chuckle.

"dont do that!" taehyung shouted and got up. But before he could identify any shadows he felt another push. This time his body hit the wall.

"stipid blind" the boy said and they walked off. Taehyung heard something but was too buisy rubbing his shoulder were he hit the wall.

"i hate them. " he said and moved his foot over the ground to find his bag which he had dropped. "huh?" he got on his knees and felt with his hands. "i-it should be here"

"no dont tell me..." taehyung sat there feeling defeated. Those boys must have taken his bag. He was sure it was here somewhere. It couldnt be that far. But where he felt and went there was no sign of his bag.

With a cold expression he went to the cafetaria where Jimin immediately hurried up to him.

"tae what took you so long? I was waiting!"

"someone took my bag, i cant find it" taehyung said.

"someone took your bag?!" jimin said surprised. "who?"

"i dont know just two boys who were being rude"

"i am going to kill them!" jimin said walking off while pulling taehyung with him at his hand.

After ten minutes of searching they found taehyung's bag thrown on top of one of the lockers. Jimin climbed up and got his friend his bag back.

"thanks Chim" taehyung said feeling in his bag to make sure all his things were still inside and nothing got stolen.

"do you really not know who they were?" Jimin asked.

"how am i supposed to know, i cant see" taehyung said sounding a bit different when saying it.

"what did they tell you?"

"that im a stupid disabled blind...That im not normal"

"dont believe them, they are just being rude" jimin said and sighed "everyone is different. And so are you. But you are special, you dont let your condition stoo you. Thats amazing of you. You must be very inspiring for others"

"thanks" Taehyung smiled a bit and hugged his friend. He was grateful to have Jimin. He lost some friends after his accident bit jimin never left him. The pink haired even visited the hospital when he was staying there.

He didnt want anyone else to see him other than his family and Jimin. Jimin didnt judge him. And Jimin kept it a secret like he asked. After those years Jimin still havent told anyone about it.

"shall we finnaly eat something?" jimin asked. "i know its jist five minutes left. But yea..."

"okay, lets eat really quick" taehyung chuckled and headed back to the big canteen.
