23: doctor

few days time skip,

"I am nervous, Jimin," Taehyung said. It was Thursday, he was going to the doctor today. He just had to wait for jungkook to pick him up from school.

"It will be fine, and you have Jungkook right? there is nothing to be scared of. it's not like they are going to amputate your leg or something" Jimin chuckled. taehyung just gave him a strange look. "look, it's just a check. nothing too serious will happen, they can't just do something. so relax"

"I will try.." Taehyung said. they heard a car stop near them, the two were sitting on the bench near school Jimin decided to wait with his friend for Jungkook.

"Look he is here" Jimin smiled and waved at Jungkook who gave a simple wave back.

"Yes, I am looking," Taehyung said, lifting his brow. Jimin just shrugged not replying to that.

"Hey Tae " the raven approached his boyfriend who smiled at hearing his voice. "Are you ready?"

"no"

"ah" jungkook chuckled not really expecting that answer. "We have to leave, it's still a while driving"

"Okay okay" Taehyung said and took jungkook's hand. "I will see you tonight Jimin" he said.

"take your time, i will wait for you!" jimin smiled. luckily they had no lessons on friday so they could make it as late as they wanted. Well he expected Taehyung to be home before bed time, it wouldn't take that long right?

"see you around Jimin" Jungkook said saying bye to taehyung's friend

"good luck!"

the two then we inside the car. as Jungkook drove over the road he held Taehyung's hand. He could clearly see how nervous the boy was. He kept fiddling with his shirt and nibbling his bottom lip.

"hey, it will be fine," Jungkook said, giving the boy's hand a squeeze.

"i hope so..." Taehyung said. he wasn't ready to go there yet but he had no choice but to go.

"i am sure of it"

After a drive that felt way too short to Taehyung's liking they arrived at the hospital. They exit the car and walk towards the entrance. Taehyung's grip around jungkook's hand tightened.

"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked looking at the other.

"i don't like it here..." taehyung said softly. this smell was still the same as when he was here for the last time. The time he turned blind. the time he lost both his parents. the time he doesn't want to remember.

"Today we are here for something new, something good. just think of that" Jungkook said. "and I'm here this time, you are not alone"

"Thank you" Taehyung said as he stood close against Jungkook to feel his presence.

"Hello, can i help you?" the lady behind the desk asked when they approached her.

"Yes, he got an appointment now."

"what's his name?"

"Kim Taehyung, but i set the appointment, my name is Jeon in the system"

"i see yes. the doctor will be right with you" the lady smiled. The two were told to wait but it luckily wasn't long as after just two minutes a doctor walked to them.

"Mr.Kim?" he said looking around.

"t-that's me" taehyung said.

"i am dr.Lee you can come with me" the doctor smiled and waited for the boy to come to him. Taehyung clinged on Jungkook as he was guided through the hospital after the doctor. His hands got sweaty, he didn't like it here at all.
