Taehyung had woken up not too long ago, he was sitting in the bed with his eyes closed and covered by two patches. The doctor was explaining him things about the surgery and what happends now.

"how are you feeling mr. Kim?"

"You can just call me Taehyung '' Taehyung said he didn't like it so formal. "I feel alright, my eyes do hurt a lot now"

"That's normal, It's Good you feel something there. Is there anywhere else you feel pain in your head that isn't your eyes?" the doctor asked. it if was then it would be a problem.

"no, besides my eyes i feel fine.."

"That's good, then I see no complications other than you need to rest" the doctor said and flipped his notes closed, smiling at the patient even though he couldn't see him. "so mr-i mean Taehyung" he chuckled "the operation was successful and happens smoothly, we only have to let you see for yourself if the surgery had any effect, so whenever you're ready you can take off the patches and open your eyes slowly"

"can i wait....I want Jungkook, my boyfriend, to be here..." Taehyung said looking down he wanted to rub his eyes to get the pain away but he knew that would be a bad thing to do.

"Of course, take your time. There was no rush. in the meantime shall i explain what the treatment is after this?"

"yes please"

"When you remove the patch and open your eyes, your eyes will be exposed to sunlight, which can harm your eyes for the first few days. Even if you can't see still, it can damage it since it's still healing from the surgery. It's best to stay at home and not expose your eyes to sunlight too much and don't rub your eyes. if you happen to have to go outside you should wear sunglasses or a hat which gives your eyes shade." the doctor explained. After his talk Taehyung nodded, it wasn't too difficult what the man all said. He can do that.

Taehyung was very nervous, his stomach was feeling heavy. He wanted to take off the pads but he didn't dare to. what if it didn't work? what if it did work? Taehyung didn't know what made him feel better, yes he wanted to see again. if it didn't work he would be very disappointed. but what if he did see? what will he see?

"Is it okay to be a scared doctor?" Taehyung asked softly. the man chuckled.

"it is, don't worry, it's normal to feel like that. it's a big moment" the doctor said, it somewhat made taehyung feel better that it wasn't strange.

"Hello hello, im sorry im a bit late!" Jungkook said, panting as he rushed to the front desk. the lady recognized him and smiled.

"I had already called you, but you're still on time. dont worry its just three minutes" she smiled and stood up. "I will take you to your boyfriend, follow me"

"so how did it go?" jungkook asked as he followed the lady through the white hallways

"it was a successful surgery. nothing went wrong and they didn't find anything worrisome. But the boy hase to see for himself if it had any effect on his sight or not" she said.

"That's good to hear" jungkook smiled, he was glad taehyung was fine and it went well, but still he was so very nervous for the moment taehyung would open his eyes. if he didn't already do it..

"Here it is, you can go in. his doctor is there too" she said and stepped aside to let the raven inside the room.

"Thank you" jungkook said, his normally so strong hand , which was now shaking, grabbed the handle and walked inside, closing the door behind him. Inside he took a deep breath and looked around seeing a doctor and on the bed his boyfriend. His brunette hair is a bit messy and on his eyes two patches. Jungkook's lips formed a bit of a sad smile. He felt emotional all of the sudden, and he didn't know why it all came up like this.
