Sana's POV
"He drew this?" My stupid friend laughed while holding the marriage contract.
I curled my lips. "Very happy, Hirai?"
She nods her head, still dying from laughter. I couldn't believe she was my best friend. Groaning, I snatched the marriage contract that Tzuyu drew with a freaking dog face and tore it apart. He will regret that he messed up with me!
How dare he treat his future wife like this? Huhuhu.
"I didn't see your husband yet, but I think he's so hot that you're willing to do everything for him to marry you." Momo sneered, rolling her eyes when she said the word "husband."
I sighed. "Well, I think 'love at first sight' really exists."
Momo snickered and shoved my chest, making me grimace. "You fell in love with the person you barely know. What if he will just hurt you, huh? What'll you do, Minatozaki?"
"Dunno." I shrugged, puckering my lips. "But I'm sure he won't hurt me. I will make him my husband! Whether he likes it or not!"
She shook her head and plopped on my bed. I sighed with a pout, staring at the rendered marriage contract.
Chou Tzuyu will be mine too. I will have him one way or another, and no one can stop me from doing that. No one.
Tzuyu's POV
"What? Mr. Im, you can't do this to me." I sounded so desperate as I chased him out of the apartment. "Mr. Im, I don't have anywhere to go! I will pay for my rent this week, please."
He sighed and shook his head at me. "Sorry, Tzuyu. You've been telling me the same thing for almost three months. You need to pack your things now or I will tell my men to do it for you. You can leave tomorrow morning."
"Mr. Im, please," I pleaded, but he ignored me and climbed inside his car. "I promise to pay this week, Mr. Im." The car revved up. "Mr. Im!"
But he didn't listen and drove away. Groaning, I pulled my hair out of frustration and watched his car fade from my sight. I squeezed my eyes shut and swore underneath my breath. Where would I live then?!
Heaving a sigh, I headed to my apartment and will just pack my things since I don't have another option. My life is messed up.
I'm in the middle of packing my clothes when my phone rings. Lazily, I grabbed it and saw Mr. Minatozaki calling. My work is done; why is he calling? Full of questions, I answered the call and put it against my ear.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Minatozaki," I greeted politely.
"I heard that you didn't sign the contract, Mr. Chou." His voice had a hint of disappointment. "Such a big opportunity for you, young man. If you do sign the contract, your salary will increase, and you will live in your own house near the company."
"Hold on, sir." I licked my lips. "I will... live in my own house?"
"Yes, yes. You will have your own house. I'm so disappointed that you—"
Fuck it. I don't have a nice feeling about signing that contract, but I'm desperate now. Staying in a hotel will drain my savings. Also, I don't have any close friends yet since I just moved here last week.
"Can we meet, sir? I want to sign the contract now." I reluctantly mumble, playing with my bottom lip using my fingertip.
"Okay, let's meet. Maybe just go to my office? I'm still at work." I don't know if I heard it right or not, but he sounded so happy.
"Okay, sir. Be there in a jiffy."
He hung up, so I quickly packed my things and organized them downstairs before jogging out of the apartment and climbing on my motorcycle.
I don't have any choice but to sign that fucking contract, although I don't even understand what it means. I'm sure it's not about my promotion. Who is an idiot CEO will promote an employee who just got hired a few days ago? But fuck it, I need shelter, so I will fucking sign that freaking contract.
3rd Person's POV
Minatozaki Kaito laughed when he ended the call. His plan worked. He searched for Chou Tzuyu's background and found out that he's renting an apartment one kilometer away from their company. Since he's a powerful man with a lot of connections, he conversed with Tzuyu's landlord to evict him.
"Sana will be very happy to know this," he said to himself.
He's not a bad guy. He's just a great father.
Making her only daughter happy is his priority. He will do everything and anything for her. Sana is his life. She's the only one who's left with him, and he doesn't want to make her sad or make her feel any negative emotions.
After a few minutes, the tall guy who made her daughter crazy appeared. Kaito smiled as he stood up from his seat and greeted Tzuyu.
"It's good that you changed your mind, Mr. Chou." He slyly smiled and grabbed the contract. "This time, you can read and understand the contract."
Tzuyu took the paper and read with his eyes. His lips parted as he read the rules and what the contract contained. Shocked, he looked up to his boss.
When he dragged his eyes out of the paper, he stared at Kaito in disbelief. A hint of anger was visible in his eyes, but Kaito ignored that and smiled at him. Sana wanted him, so Kaito will give him to Sana. He will try every way possible to make her daughter happy.
"Sir, this is not a promotion." Tzuyu stated the fact. "Marry your daughter? Why would I do that?"
Kaito pursed his lips and sat at his chair, tilting around a little. "Because I wanted you to. I know you need money and shelter. You should sign the contract or you will also lose your job, and I will make sure to proscribe you to other companies."
Tzuyu's jaw clenched. "You can't do that, sir."
"I can," Kaito sneered. "This is for my daughter. Just sign it and you're free to go. You can't go out of this office if you won't sign it."
The young man stared at the papers thoughtfully. He doesn't have any places to go, so he doesn't have a choice. But who cares? Knowing that he will marry that arrogant and conceited lady makes him want to sleep on the streets instead.
"I won't sign it. Sorry." He stood up and was about to walk out of the office when a few men pointed a gun at him.
He didn't even notice them when he went in.
His knees started to shake as memories flashed through his head. He has necrophobia because of his traumatic past, so he quickly sat back and grabbed the pen and paper. After a bit of shaking, he managed to sign the contract and give it to Kaito.
The man smiled in triumph as he stared at Tzuyu's signature. He feels bad that he needs to threaten him, but he must. For his daughter.
"Welcome to the family, future son-in-law," he grinned.
