Haruki

"Hah, that was easy!" Amano shouts as he stretches as we took out most of the Oslo members.
"What about the higher ups, we still didn't get to them yet?" Usui asks us.
"Yutaka Ryuu." I asked myself.
"Yes?" He comes behind me and punches through my stomach. I release myself and jump ontop of a pipe.
"Oh, you finally look like you bathed." He tells me.
"Still a father to Koemi?" I smirk to make him break. "You know she is a idiot." I said.
"She went to go find that short girl." He grunts. "Your little pet killed Tsubasa, so we're out for blood." He says as he extends his lizard-like kagune. He launches at me but Usui stops it with her kagune.
"Leave Arita out of this, you pest!" Usui and Amano shout.

"Yay, fun!" A girl comes up and blocks them and sends Usui flying.
"ETSU!" Amano yells to her. "I'm alright!"
"Kira, go take care of that tangerine!" Yutaka shouts to Kira.
"I-I captain!" She shouts as she flings herself. "Naito, he's in the B category, he is not that strong, unlike Tsubasa too, Tsubasa was the third-most strongest, but he has great intelligence" I tell her.
"I have no idea where his weak spot is." I rub my chin.
"I think I do." Naito grins.

Naito goes to point her kagune at the lower back of Yutaka. She is the quickest, Reina told me. She shoots her projectiles from her Ukaku kagune into the lower part under his kagune.
"CHECK MATE!" Naito shouts and raises her fists. "What a fucking loser!" She laughs. "Hey, Amano, Usui, you catching this?" She asks them as Usui has framed out.
"Usui?" I ask her as I go by her.
"I don't know why, she just went crazy and muttered weird words!" Amano cries.
"Etsu!" Amano shouts to her as he gets close. "She's framed out, we have to stop it." I pull out my extended knife.
"NO, DON'T!" Amano blocks me.
"It's no choice, she is framed out." I tell him.
"I CAN SOLVE IT, PLEASE, SHE IS CLOSE TO ME, PLEASE!" He whales. I lower my knife as Amano goes up to her. Reina. Please. Be careful. "It's okay, Etsu, we're here by you." Naito goes up to her and hugs Usui.
"We will make it out alive together." They all cried and hugged as I look out at the door. "Amano, carry Usui on your back, we need to find Reina and leave, Naito, you go get Toyama."
"Yes, sir." She says as she leaves. "Wait." I said quickly.
"Let me come with, after that, we'll go get Reina and the others." I said as I followed her.

Toyama

"Sir, every ghoul we seen have been put under control."
"Very well, please take the injured and go, I'll stay behind for a minute." I instruct him.
"Sir." They all said as they leave. They all left as I close my eyes and I take my swords. The clink of the sword echoes as the room is all silent. I met with my mother over the weekend as she invited me for dinner, before the mission. She wanted to meet up and see how things were. I was anxious, because I finally felt about telling her my secret.

"Oh, look how tall you are!" She raises her hand at my forehead.
"I'm still the same, Mom." I laughed. "Oh that hair, you got to at least trim it." She touches it. "When you get a wife, you got to look clean."
"Oh, yeah." I lower my head.
"What's wrong, you're not feeling well?" She asks me.
"Oh, I'm fine, it just makes me a bit off when you always ask that." I tell her.

My father died when I was young, due to a ghoul ambush. He was a stockbroker, which ultimately made the Toyama Clan lavish. He was a rather intelligent man, and a kind one as said by my mother. My mother soon remarried when I was three, although my step-father always is overseas. He knew of my secret, but my mother hasn't, due to an obsession over wanting grandkids.
"Yumi is busy making the soup, it's so glad you came for dinner, I'm so excited to tell you about Toyama Enterprises has I-"
"Mom, I'm gay." I quickly interrupt her. "I know, I should've told you earlier, I'm sorry." I sniffled. "Oh, Shima, I'm so sorry if I gave you anxiety." She comes up and touches my hand. "You are yourself, and I shouldn't be able to change that." She looks in my eyes.
"Thanks, Mom." I wept. "You have such a gentle soul, you couldn't even kill a ghoul or human." She tells me.

I turn around and put my swords away as I see Mariko and Haruki come by me.
"Come on, we got to head to the basement, I just got note of Kaito being heavily injured, and Reina is MIA." Haruki quickly tells me.
"Where did they fight, I forgot?" I ask them. "Reina told me the basement, we look for her, then we go to Kaito." Haruki waves to me to come with them as we run quickly to the basement. We find her covered in thick flesh and in some-sort of cocoon.

"REINA!" We shout as we try to rip the kagune off of her, but it keeps regenerating. "REINA, IT'S ME, HARUKI, WE'RE GETTING YOU OUT!" Haruki wepts to her.
"Haruki, get ontop, Mariko, you keep pulling the skin, I'll cut her out." I release my swords and jump onto the cocoon and slash where Sensei is. Mariko rips the last layer of the skin and Haruki pulls her out.
"Ohhhh shit." Mariko says out of shock. Her skin is covered in these beautiful markings, like the ones she tried to hide, they're a dark red. "REINA, CAN YOU HEAR US!" Haruki pleaded to her, but we can't wake her up.
"We got to get going." I said as I receive a message from Hide.

"GUYS, WHAT HAPPENED!" Kishimoto shouts as we carry Reina out and lay her on a bed at a nearby hospital.
"She has been unconscious ever since, we can't even signal her, it's like she is dead." Haruki sits down and rests his head in his palms.
"Hows Kaito and Usui?" I ask Amano.
"Usui had to be sedated due to framing out, so she is resting in a different room." Amano informs us.
"And Kaito is in the middle of surgery, we just been informed that the body I took has a match with Kaito."
"That's great!" I exclaim.
"Although, he was a ghoul, and that means that Kaito may become a half-ghoul." Kishimoto concluded.
"A kakuhou will help her gravely, because she can regenerate now." Haruki says. "Although, she may not take this well." Kishimoto queues.
"We just got to see what comes out." I sat down.

Reina has entered a coma. We can't believe it. Our mentor who taught us bravery, succumbed herself to an endless slumber because of that woman. I walked into the room where she is at, right next to Kaito. I sit on my bed as everyone is in the other rooms sleeping. Out of everyone in the group, I'm possibly the closest to Kaito. She was the first one that acknowledged me in some way, and helped me get to where I am. I have to acknowledge her bravery in some say.

"Knew you snuck out to see Kaito, you got a little crush on her?" Haruki comes in, handing me a water bottle.
"It's not like that." I sort of blushed. "You're not attracted to women, right? but you are a great friend." Haruki sits down by me.
"Hey, Shima, can you keep this between me, but, I'm kind of like you in a way." He tells me.
"What do you mean?"
"I can't really find myself in a relationship right now, you know, with everything that happened."
"I see." I reply.
"We both are pretty selfless." He lifts his head. "I like people like that." He gives me a smile.
"Get some sleep, you two, we got to head back to the 1st ward tomorrow." Hide walks in. "Reina will be transferred to a unit there too."
"Mind if I sleep in here tonight?" I ask Hide. "I don't mind, you want to also, Haruki?" Hide asks him.
"Yeah, I was about to ask the same." Haruki scratches his head. I lay back as I take off my jacket and lay it on me.
"How does it feel to be the only human in the squad now?" Hide gives me a question. "Honestly, kind of making me nervous and weird." I give an answer.
