meeting.

Part 1

The meeting happens today, and the Marude Squad house was busy today. I'm bringing Arita and Toyama, the two humans in my square. Arita has decided to tell some evidence she has spiraled up. She is pretty intelligent, but likes doing things on her own. Kishimoto and Naito are doing something at the academy, one of the teachers needs help with presenting something. Usui is busy lecturing kids at the academy, and Hide is meeting up with Marude, my uncle.

"TOYAMA YOU'RE ON COFFEE!" Arita yells to him as I put on my white turtleneck Usui bought me a few months ago.
"ALRIGHT!" Toyama shouts back as he opens his bedroom door and steps out. I put my hair in a ponytail and put on my white sneakers and my jacket.
"Morning you guys." I say as I head downstairs. "Morning Rei, I made you breakfast, also, anything new on how you can eat human food." Usui says eating some of the breakfast Hide cooked.
"It might be denatured from what I got, although, I'm not good at how the science works, but thanks for lending me your science books, Etsu." I tell her as Hide puts the food on the plate.

"Stop talking science my brain hurts." Amano moans.
"What's with him?"
"He's tired, stayed up all night and I went to bed early because he didn't need my help." Usui says as I take a bite of the food, which is burning my mouth.
"Kishimoto and Naito already left, because Aura needed help with some kids, and Usui is going to teach a classroom today. " Hide tells me.
"Hey Teach, wanna get going before we are late?" Arita tells me. "Yea, I'm finished, thanks dude for the breakfast."

We all got into the meeting room and Tsukiyama there, early as always.
"Hello, Reina." he tells me as I carry the coffee. "Why can't you just call me by Rei." I affirm him. "Sounds more rich." he tells me as I hand him the coffee.
"Is Kaneki coming to the meeting, I'm being curious, Shuu." Toyama asks him.
"Probably, but I'm not sure of it." Tsukiyama responds. The door opens as we spoke, it was Kei, a friend of mine that I met during the aftermath of the Owl Fight 10 years ago. We met when I went to the academy for the 2 years before I became an investigator.

"Kei, how has it been?" I yell to him.
"Good, you matured quite a lot, although you are like who you acted like before."
"That's because I matured a lot and actually grew up." I tell him as we both sit down. I can hear Toyama and Kaito gossiping by me, but I gave them a look to knock it off.

"Alright Arita, you can tell us the information you have when you are ready." Tsukiyama tells her as we are ready.
"Last week, another murder of a human has taken place, this is the 4th one this month, however when I went to the crime scene, I noticed something near the body." she informs us. "I noticed a medium sized logo near the body, what looks like a O with a line crossed diagonally, it looks like it's the main symbol for Oslo." I look towards the empty chair Kaneki was supposed to sit, he must've been late.
"I decided to ask a few people of what the woman looked like, and one of them said they were given a name, Koemi Ima, I do not have any information of her at this moment."
"Sorry to interrupt, but shouldn't we also find any other members of the clan," Kei interrupts her.
"That's what we are working on, what do you have."
"Well I found out something that is way more easier to explain than on paper, basica-"

"SORRY I'M LATE!" Kaneki yells bursting through the door.
"Kaneki, you're late." Tsukiyama says. Kei looks a bit irritated. I get up and bow to him.
"Welcome back." I tell him as I bow. I look at him, he gives a nice smile, but however, I somehow look at his hair, that scar is somewhat intolerable to me, it makes me think endlessly about it. "Oh here, I brought you coffee, might be a bit cold." I reassure myself and bring him the coffee.
"Thanks, let's continue." he tells me as he sits down.

"I wrote down some of the research we did for you, sir." Toyama says to Kaneki as the meeting is finished. "
Thank you, you really are reliable as stated in your resume." he tells him.
"I always have to write things down, since I think it's a bit easier than memory."
"Same." Arita murmurs as she checks her phone. "Hey Teach," Arita tells me. "What's for dinner?" "I'm not sure, it is your night to help cook, and you are the best cook in the house." I say bumping her elbow. "Oh shit." I say really quick. "I was supposed to give something to Kei, the bracelet he lended me." I say hitting my head with my palm. "That stinks, he left quickly after the meeting ended."
"Probably the restroom." Arita resumes.
"But hey, I'll bring you coffee from every meeting, piping hot!" I tell Kaneki.
"That sounds like a deal." he says as he leaves. "Hey guys, are you hungry?" Toyama says. "Why don't we head to my parent's building, they got a really nice cafe there."
"I don't mind." I say. "Maybe we can meet them."

"HOLY SHIT THAT'S BIG!" I yell as I stand in front of the building.
"Yea, that's my parents." he says grabbing his neck.
"You didn't tell me your parents are that rich, besides the fancy tailored suits." Arita tells him. "You guys would be pooping yourselves, Amano would be very crazy, and Naito would be screaming nonsense at the dinner table." he says. "Anyways, I'm starving and it's kind of cold." Arita complains. We go in and it is very fancy, full of nice people waiting to bow if you go up to them.
"Here is the cafe, I'll pay." he tells us as her sit down. Kaito takes off her jacket, showing a blue long sleeve blouse under her shirt. "I'll just get oden." Kaito tells the waitress there, while I get sashimi.
"Toyama, what are you getting?"
"The same as you." he says smiling at me. He is like a big gentle giant, standing at 6'4, his sort of long black hair brings to the dark olive eyes he has than mine.
"Oh, and also can I get a coffee please, black?" I chime in. She nods and goes to the kitchen. "Usui would love it here, we should take her here one day." I tell him.
"She would, and Amano too, my mom likes him, she always asks how he's doing." he quickly puts in. The food came and it was delicious. "The best chefs ever work here, how's that oden, Kaito?" Toyama says as she scarves down that food. She gives a thumbs up.
"Food makes her happy, I can tell because she always has a snack in her mouth when she is usually stressed or feels like it." I tell Toyama. "I'm surprised in her skinny body," I say as I look at my chest, which is pretty big. In the years since the Dragon War, I've gotten myself to a reasonable weight, a weight where I feel comfortable at and I don't feel frail, I hope to keep it this way. Toyama didn't hear me, but I continued eating.

"That was really good." Arita says, like she just didn't eat a whole bowl of oden in 3 minutes. "You're chippy now, but still, not smiling." I say.
"Shima baby!" a voice calls to our table.
"Mom, hey." he says getting up and hugging his mom.
"This is your group, they look so nice, plus you are cute." his mom says looking at me and Arita. "This is my mom, Sara Toyama." he introduces to us. She looks really rich, and that expensive watch shows it.
"You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend, Shima." she teases him.
"That's my boss, Mom." "She is cute." looking at me. I laughed.
"This is Arita, my student, I have a few others but they are busy doing work." I told her.
"Cannot believe you are the TSC Director's niece, oh he must be proud of you all the time."
"Yea. But we have our ups and downs, but we are pretty even." I tell her, but Arita gets a bit irritated.
"Mrs. Toyama, your meeting is almost ready." "I'll be there in a minute." she tells her colleague before kissing Toyama. "Bye!" she says before running to the colleague and then leaving.
"I need to file some papers at the department, you guys go back." I tell them as I received a text message from Kei.
"Okay, that was a bit abrupt." Arita says.

"Okay, I want you and your squad to help find a hideout that Oslo is staying in." Kei tells me on the phone.
"I looked into that, basically an old mansion was bought 5 years ago by an unknown buyer." I inform him.
"I'm pretty sure they cleaned it since it is a bit dusty when I looked into the pictures."
"Alright but get to the point."
"I feel we should do more information on Oslo, get to know the members and see if they let us do a mission, maybe Shikorae is apart of it." I say.
"Sounds good, I'll inform Suzuya." he says before hanging up, I let out a big sigh and cuss under my mouth.
"Hey, Ms. Marude." another voice says to me toughing my shoulder.

"Kishimoto, hey, and you too Naito."
"We just got back from the academy." Naito says.
"Mariko fought a kid, and it was brutal." he comments.
"Well that little shit needing a listening, besides, I almost got yelled at by Ui." she yells at him, who gets scared. Naito's striking blue hair looks really nice, it pops out in the sun, and Kishimoto's grayish white hair really adds to the glasses he wears.
"What were you doing?" Kishimoto asks me.
"I was asking Kei about planning a mission at one of their hideouts, and a possibility of Shikorae being an associate." I inform.
"That sounds possible, besides, even if we were to do a mission, we wouldn't be prepared, the only one that can actually stand on her own is me and Naito, and I'm not saying in a confident way." Kishimoto says.
"Yea you are right, we should be training more, right, Naito?"
"Yea Mar-sensei."
"I want you to train us how you fight, I'll help with the guns." I tell her.
"Sure, I like to beat Amano's scrawny ass."
"And Kishimoto and I will teach the quinxes, which are Amano and Usui.
"Besides, Usui is kind of skittish, and looks like a deer in the headlights when she was pursued a few months back, this could help." Naito comments.
"You said that to be nice, right?"
"No." she says as we walk down the street.
"I got a movie we can watch tonight. Just rented this morning to surprise you guys, Spirited Away." I tell them.
"That's a kids movie, but I dunno what it is," Naito says.
"It won an award, I'm sure you guys know movies, besides you guys did live in the 24th Ward for some time."
"Not really."
