Tokyo Ghoul: Regina

Kaito.

"Officers Toyama and Arita, give us your reports of officers Naito and Kishimoto's discoverings." The head peacekeeper asks us.
"They discovered that Watanabe is now the acting leader, since we are still unsure if Kinuko is still alive." I go first. "They have went under different identities and appearances to release suspicion."
"And they have been with them full time, giving us messages through letters." Toyama holds up. "Very well." Suzuya applauds us. "How is Nagachika aswell?" They ask us, we look at each other.
"Very well, he is visiting her right now." I respond.

I'm currently twenty years old, and it's around late March now. I have been put on third command in the squad due to more discoveries I have made. I haven't put my kagune into any use, I feel that I just use my newfound power as a regenerative solution.
"Haruki, good news." Toyama goes up to him as we meet up.
"They might be returning home sooner than we thought." I told him. "
That's great news, good job again, Toyama." He smiles at him, which I see Toyama blush.
"Let's go see Reina, Hide is waiting." I checked my phone.

"New haircut?" I ask Hide as we walked in and see Reina with short white hair.
"It was growing exceedingly fast, so we had to trim it." Hide smiles and rubs his hand on her forehead. "But she's doing better than last month."
"She's doing better, that's good." Toyama says. "Kishimoto and Naito are coming back tonight, we'll all have a drink." Haruki smirks to him. "That's good, I'm happy." Hide smiles as I pull a chair up and sit by Reina.
"Arita, she's proud of you, I know she is." Hide tells me, which I look up.
"I feel like she would, she gets giddy at the slightest of things." I smirked softly.
"Hey, we're going to go get some things ready for dinner, Usui is having trouble and Amano is ruining it." Toyama laughs.
"You guys go on, I'm staying back for a bit." I told them.
"You sure?" Hide asks.
"Yeah, I need a bit with her." I assured. He nods and they all leave. I rest my hands into my pockets and sigh.
"It's been almost three years since you entered a coma, when will you wake?" I ask her. "Please, wake up soon, we're almost done doing this for you." I get up. I leave the hospital and grab a cigarette out of my bag, and light it. I started to pick it up as a habit, no one really knows. It's sort of therapeutic to me, really.
"Oh, hello, you must be on of Reina's students?" A woman walks up to me. It was Akira Mado, and she had a stroller with her.
"Oh, hello, Mrs. Amon." I quickly stomped on my cigarette. "Just came back from seeing Reina, and, you've been busy the last two years." I looked at the stroller. She must've married that piece of muscle.
"Can I have a peek?" I ask her.
"Of course." She smiles as I lift the blanket. It was a sleeping baby boy. "His name is Kureo." She tells me. He has dark black hair and red eyes, like his mother.
"Oh, after your father." I folded the blanket. "I got to get going, I'll see you later." I waved.
"Nice talking to you, come by some time, love to have dinner with you and your squad members." She smiles and continues walking.

"I'm back." I shouted as I came back to the house. "HEY, KAITO!" I look up and see Jirou, the same buzz cut two years prior and piercings, although much more muscular than last time, he looked ripped, I can tell by his arms.
"Oh my god, hi!" I yelled and ran up to hug him.
"You gotten so older." He raised me up, he must've grew a few inches as well, I'm dangling.
"Put me down!" I shrieked as he dropped me. He got stronger as well.
"Come on, sit!" Amano ushers us to sit. He pours us a glass of blood wine, given to us as a gift, as I take a sip.
"This is great!" Jirou says. "We've been deriving ourselves so much, finally something good." He says.
"Usui, come on, have a little wine." Mariko asks her. "We haven't seen each other in years."
"She's very alchohol prone, so beware." Amano chuckles. "Come on, keep the drinks for later, we're about to eat soon." Haruki says.
"Speaking of soon, when the hell did you get taller than me?!" Naito shrieks. Amano got a growth spurt during the time they were gone, he used to be shorter than Naito by a whole inch, now he's two inches taller than her. However I, stayed the same height as a good five feet.

We ate and drank a ton and went to bed pretty late. I sat in my bed, huddling with my stuffed animal, and looked the ceiling. I'm a bit drunk, to be fair, but I'm not that intoxicated I think. I hear a knock at my door and it opens. It was Jirou. "Everyone is asleep, just wanted to check up on you." He came in and closed the door. He crawls to sit on my bed, as I stretched my arms and laid back.
"It's hot in here." I said as I took off my sweater, which has a tight shirt under it. "Take off those piercings, they might hurt." I suggested, as I sat up. "Let me get the lip." I tugged and took it off, he makes an audible ow. He got the other piercings and I set them on my end table.
"You've gotten hotter." He whispers.
"Pardon?" I ask softly.
"Nothing." He blushes. I rest my head on his chest.
"I really missed you." I said as I cried. I guess I am a bit intoxicated, more than I thought. "I've been so lonely because of Reina and so busy." My voice cracked. "Please, stay with me." I looked up. "It was so lonely the last two years that you were with Oslo, and Reina being gone, I was lonely."
"I know, and I'm sorry." He starts to cry. "I can say I was too, I guess."
"Please, under any circumstance, don't leave me again." I tell him as I sobbed harder. He hugs me and pulls me in, I sink into his large frame.
"I promise you, Kaito."

"Reina?" I ask myself. I'm in a dream, or vision, and I see a woman with short white hair. She turns around. It's her. "I'm coming, Kaito, come to me."
She tells me as she comes over. She strokes my hair. "You gotten so big." She touches my hair. I jolt myself out of bed, it was just a dream. The bed is a mess, I turn to my side, Jirou is right next to me. I must've been very intoxicated. "Reina." I shrieked as I jumped out of bed. That dream I had, she must be awake. I quickly put pants and a shirt on and shoes and quickly leave the house. She has to be awake. I took the train and got to the hospital in around 20 minutes. "I'm looking for Reina, Reina Washuu." I told the receptionist. She gives me a pass and I run down the hallway. I slide by the door and I see her standing by the window, looking out. Tears flow down my face my dreams. She turns around, her pale face stares right at me. Her short white hair blowing in the wind with her still very red marks showing.
"Sensei." I cried out.
"Kaito." She smiles back. I slowly walk towards her, and collapse. I start to cry hard, harder than ever before. "It's okay, I'm here." She smiles and bends down.
"I thought you were going to die." I sniffled. I wail louder. I think the whole hospital can hear me.
"I'm here, don't you worry about that."
"Oh my god." Hide comes into the room. "Reina."
