Tokyo Ghoul: Regina

frest start.

Kaito Arita, a Rank 3, sits at a coffee shop, studying about ghoul biology. She was part of the freshly new Marude Squad, and is the youngest member, only seventeen years old. She is a human, and is an aloof, stern, straight-faced woman, with long brown hair and dark blue cat-like eyes. She wants to become smart and responsible, and it became a complex for her. It was peaceful, till one of her coworkers came.

"IS THAT YOU ARITA? OH MY GOD ITS YOU!" said a teenager, running down the street. That is her team member, Yukio Amano. He is the most air headed in the group, and is very witty and a bit hot headed. He has short brown hair and dark brown eyes.
"What now, you asshole, trying to get with Etsu again?" spoke Arita, as she gets annoyed with him.
"Not yet, I just wanted to hang out with one of my best pals, since it's a beautiful day out." he responded. Yukio was eighteen, and is older than Arita, which pisses her off a bit. Amano orders a coffee, and goes to sit down with Arita.
" Whatcha doing, your eyes are always glued to that book."
"I'm trying to get more knowledge on ghoul biology, so me and Etsu can help make research for Nishio." she said, getting annoyed.
"That's pretty boring, me and Toyama are going to work with Urie soon on the dragon orphans, so we are making some observations, man I would love to be in Urie's squad, since I am a Quinx though." responded Amano, as he is taking a sip of his coffee.
"Oh I wish you were too." Arita quips.

Suddenly, panic has ensured. A dragon orphan attacks a human. Amano and Arita go out of the coffee shop and plan to attack it. Amano uses his kagune, a rinkaku, and plans to attack the orphan, but is pushed back by its weapon. Arita takes out a gun equipped with q-bullets, given to her by her squad leader, and starts to fire. They puncture it, but it seems to be too strong. "ARITA, EVACUATE THE PEOPLE, THIS MIGHT GET MESSY!" shouted Amano, as he attacks the orphan.
"Fine, but why should I take orders from you, you're not even working that hard." she spoke. This caught Amano off guard and they started to fight. Suddenly, a loud gunshot was heard, and the orphan was dead. It was their squad leader, Reina Marude, who killed the Dragon Orphan.
"Hi Ms.Marude, how have you been?" said Amano, but she didn't respond, which means she is a bit ticked off.
"I always have to deal with you guys, let's get back to the house and we can discuss this." Rei said, and she took them by the arm, and made them apologize to the responded peacekeepers, and took them home.

SLAP! Arita was slapped by the cheek by Rei, as an act of punishment for the consequences, including Amano.
"You guys have embarrassed us again, Arita, your attitude won't be great when you start working with higher ups, you have to go on with what people say, even though you don't want do." exclaimed Marude. "And Amano, you need to start not being so reckless, I have potential for both of you, but if you guys don't get along, I have to punish you guys more." she kept going on. " For your punishment, Arita, you are going to reread and write notes on Sherlock Holmes stories, and Amano you're going to work on study books." she said. They both groaned, but especially Amano, he had the lowest grades in the squad, and he never really knows how to study. When they got out of the meeting room, Rei asked for help to get the study books, which Etsu helped with, because she has the most. Etsu Usui is the same age as Amano, and she was a girl with orange hair and bright green eyes and was head to toe in freckles. She goes into her room, and gets two math study books, including a calculus one, and a physics one. Rei goes and gets her Sherlock Holmes series off of her bookshelf and grabs a notebook. Arita sits at the table, pondering about what the books are about.

The front door opens, "We're home." said Hide, including other members Shima Toyama and Jirou Kishimoto. Shima Toyama is the oldest member of the squad, he is around 6'1, and looks intimidating, but is a very gentle and frank person, and is a human with long black hair and black eyes. Jirou Kishimoto is the second oldest, he is around 5'10, and is the only fully known ghoul in the squad, and is very emotional and courageous. He has silver hair and golden eyes.
"Where is Marikou?" Etsu said, as she drinks her tea.
"She'll be back later, Peacekeeper Tsukiyama wanted to have a talk with her about something." Toyama said.
"Hey Kaito, what did you do again, you're in trouble again with your mouth right, my god your a tough one, it's so cool!" Kishimoto spoke. She didn't respond because it pissed her off. "Sorry." He whined.
"I had to kill a dragon orphan again because of her, I'm making some training lessons with some people, maybe even Suzuya if you guys behave."
"Don't scare them that hard, Reina, you'll make them shit themselves again." Hide said, as he sat down. Hide and Rei have been working together for two years, assigned together by director Itsuki Marude, or Rei's uncle.
"Hey Etsu, I heard that you got recognized by Aura, she wants you teach a lesson again at the Academy, they will love it." Hide said.
"I'd love too! It is a honor, can you tell her that I accept the request?" she asked and stuttered as she came out of her room.
"Can I at least get help with the studybooks??" groaned Amano.
"I can help." said Etsu, she got up and went to the table and sat by him, and she started to help him study.
" I might as well start cooking dinner, Kishimoto, mind helping this time?." Rei spoke. Kishimoto nodded, and went to the kitchen.

"I'M HOME!" said Marikou Naito, as she just got home. She is the rowdiest one in the squad, and a loud one to be told. "Sorry for being late Mr. Nagachika, The fancy dude wanted to chat with me."
"It's fine, Naito." he responded. Naito is said to be the strongest member, tied with Kishimoto. "What smells good?"
"We are having soba tonight." spoke Toyama, but Marikou didn't hear it because she was yelling at Kaito.
"YOU DUMB FUCK, WHY DO YOU ALWAYS GET IN TROUBLE, ESPECIALLY YOU TOO YUKIO, YOU NEED A SHARPER HEAD!" she yelled, slamming Yukio's head down on the table, scaring Etsu.
"DINNER IS READY!" yelled Rei, as she puts the food on the table. " Kishimoto helped make some tea for us, sorry for the wait."

After dinner, everyone had gone to their rooms. Hide had to make a online conference meeting, Kishimoto was reading a new book he bought, Naito was working out, Toyama's mom was talking to Shima, and Amano and Etsu were studying and helping him out. Meanwhile, Rei is getting out of the shower.
" My scar with Shikorae, he really did cut me hard, normal cuts would go away easily, but mine didn't really budge." she thought to herself, three years earlier she encountered Shikorae and fought him, she had to retreat due to injury, since his kakuja was too strong.
"I need to increase my strength, and officially beat him." Suddenly, a knock on the door happened as soon as she put her clothes on.
"It's me, Kaito." the door opens, "I finished the books."
"Already? Didn't you skim through them?" concerned Rei.
"I did it through audiobook, plus I need for info on Oslo because I want to learn this on my own." she said, then turned around and left."
"God, I need to fix that attitude, losing her family and being sold as a slave changed her, and I saved her from that, I need to help her, maybe she needs someone to actually talk to." Rei thought, when Rei was in the CCG, she did her own mission during the Auction Extermination, she saved a young human girl from being eaten, and saw a man in a black robe, which was confirmed to be Koutarou Amon.

"The Oslo Clan, officially ran by a Ghoul named Kinuko, who was abandoned at a young age at birth, and was raised by ghouls on the alleyways. It didn't increase until after the Dragon War. It is widely believed that Shikorae is apart of the Clan." Rei spoke when she read the report to Kaito.
"What does Oslo even mean?" she questioned. "It means hill or ridge,an interpretation could be the meadow beneath the ridge, it's from Norway." Rei responded, as she closed the case file and handed it to Kaito. "I'm going to bed, goodnight, Arita, please don't lose it, I don't want to get in trouble because I have a meeting with representatives from United Front." and the night was over.
