Kishimoto

"Satoru?" I called out for him. It's been days since we've ate, and our hunger is worsening by the minute. I don't know what the hell happened to us both, but, we've changed. It wasn't until we were evacuating, and losing our parents, and being separated from everyone else, that these changes started to kick in. The cries of my younger brother were hurting my ears, as I had to be strong for him, despite my own condition.
"It hurts brother, it hurts." He cries as he clenched his stomach.
"I know, I know, we'll be able to find help soon, we just have to stick together, okay?" I told him.
"Okay." He hugs me and cries.
We were able to find a place of shelter, under a destroyed home, and were staying there for now, but my brother went missing that day.
"Satoru!" I called out for him again, I went out to the town to look for him. "Satoru, come back!" I called out for him again, until I heard a faint squishing sound. It was getting louder, so I ran towards that direction. Every prayer was going through my head, hoping that he didn't die, hoping that he was okay. I was able to find him, however, but he was peering over a body, ripping open and eating his organs. I froze as he turned around, ripping an intestine apart with his mouth and chewing it slowly.
"Jirou!" He comes up to me. "We finally got food, come on, let's share!" He grabs my hand, but I kept my feet glued to the ground.
"That's a human, Satoru!" I shouted. "What the hell are you doing?!"

"I saw this guy coming around here, and I was so hungry I attacked him, he was an older man though, so that's okay."
"That doesn't mean you kill him!" I started to get angry at him. "Do you understand? You're a murderer!"
"Brother, I don't think you get it yet." He stopped eating.
"We're human, we don't eat humans, that is what ghouls do!" I shouted at him, grabbing his head and forcing him to look at me. "We are human."
"We're ghouls, Jirou! We eat people now, we have become these creatures for a reason, God gave us these powers to help us!" He sways my hands away from him. "If mom didn't make you so emotional and naive and stupidly protective of me, it would be your organs I would be eating right now!"
"Satoru, what the hell?!" I cried out at him as he pierced me.
"You're weak!" He screamed as he kept going again and again. "You're always weak, just like our parents!" He finally stopped piercing me. I laid on the ground, trying to catch a breath, but it was so painful. His kagune was in the shape of wings, it was very scary for me to understand at the time.
"Get out of here!" He shouted at me. I managed to pick up the pace a bit, running out of that town as quick as I can, away from him.

I managed to make it to some place, I can't describe it as my memory has still been fucked up, but I know from what Naito told me was that I was ravenous, and I jumped at her and I ate her hand. From then on, my life changed, and I was able to control this insatiable hunger inside of me. But, I wanted to forget the past, I think everyone who became someone like me did. I wanted to forget my brother, so, I started to disassociate myself from him, I became silent around him. Finding myself captured and waking up to see that he was part of Oslo though, gave me relief. I thought he died during the war, but instead, we became opposites. I do love my brother, but, I sometimes wished he wasn't my brother. Brothers don't hurt each other.

"WHY AREN'T YOU HITTING ME, JIROU?" He shouted at me as we were battling each other. He kept striking me, trying to break off my kagune, but, luckily I'm strong enough to defend myself. I don't want to hurt him, I never wanted to hurt him.
"Satoru, please, let's not fight!" I shouted back. "I tried to forget about you all these years, are we really doing this now?!"
"You wanted to forget me, your own brother?! I thought you would really join us those two years, we could've finally left everything for us to live a normal life, but you're just another filthy peace keeper, and a fucking liar!" He shouted at me as he managed to pierce me with one of the projectiles from his kagune, which sends me flying. I open my eyes to see him floating above me. "I don't understand you, Jirou, why you always try to forget the past, it happened, it is always with us." He flys down to me. He goes to crouch by me, as I try to get up.
"You're a freak, you're a horrible person!" I yelled at him, to which he stopped.
"And what does that make you, the good person? Good people don't forget their family, if you weren't so weak that day, maybe the both of us would've actually gotten out of here and made a name for ourselves." He says as he gets impaled in the arm. "Oh, you bitch!" He turned around. It was Kaito. Her arm was wrapped in a wing, her kagune was just like mine, a koukaku, wrapped around her arm. Her kakugan was blaring red, and she was seething. He lunged at her, trying to take her down quickly, but she blocked his attack.
"Arita, enough, don't hurt him!" I shouted at her as I tried to get up, but she didn't respond back. Satoru jumps back, his red hair covering his face, but I can tell he was covered in anger.

"What the hell is with you?" He shouted back at her. I managed to stand up on my own. I pulled out a RC suppressant that I had in my jacket that I stole from the lab. The only way for my brother to stop, is if I wither his kagune away, his pride. I fixed up the syringe quickly, and I run full speed at him as he goes to lunge at Arita. I grabbed his jacket and pulled him to the floor, jamming the syringe into his eye. "Brother?" He cried out to me as I pinned him down harder. His kagune was slowly decaying away. "What the hell did you do?!"
"RC suppressant, stole it because I knew it was the one thing to take you down." I said to him as I tied his hands up. "It's about time that you stop, Satoru."
"Let me go!" He started to cry. "I need Erik, ERIK!" He called out for him. "LET ME GO, PLEASE LET ME GO, JIROU!
"Kishimoto, Erik Kioshi has gotten away." Naito signaled in my ear.
"That's okay, this isn't over yet." I replied back as I got up. I carried my brother and threw him at the wall, he was profusely crying and screaming and flailing around. "Where the hell is Arita?" I said to myself as I turned around to find her kagune freaking out. She's losing control!

"Arita!" I shouted at her as I ran up to her.
"Get back!" She yelled at me. She had her head in her hands as her kagune was stretching and going everywhere. It was horrifying. A ghoul loses their mind when they haven't eaten anything, I know the pain. But, this might be the only solution. I ripped my jacket off of me and revealed my arm.
"Arita!" I shouted at her. "Eat!" I pointed at my hand.
"I can't, I can't do it!" She pushed me off her. I landed on the floor. Was she really trying to not eat meat all this time? I have seen her eating bits of the artificial food, but it must have been so slim. How the hell did she survive all this time going by as little as possible? The only way for her to stop this rampage, is if I shove something down her throat. I don't have any more suppressants, but I have a plan.

I ran full speed at her, grabbing her jaw and opening it wide. I stuck my fingers into her mouth, and then let go of her jaw, jamming down onto my fingers, amputating them.
"I'm sorry, Kaito!" I shouted to her as I get on her shoulders, activate my kagune again, and slice hers off. She falls to the floor immediately, knocked out.
"You really did that." Satoru says to me, still tied up by the wall. I ignored him. Arita then wakes up, and gets on her back, she's sweating profusely.
"I really lost it, didn't I?" She asked me.
"Yeah." I answered back. "Come on, let's get out of here, the mission was successful." I put out my other hand for her. "We got a big worry on our hands." She grabs my hand and I point to Satoru.
"Your hand, Jirou?!" She pointed out my hand, which is slowly regenerating from all the fingers being bitten off.
"It's fine, they'll come back." I told her. I picked up Satoru and flew him over my shoulder, and we find our way out.

"We managed to capture one of the higher ups of Oslo, Satoru Nobuyuki." I told my fellow members. "He was a very difficult person to catch, but with some struggle, I managed to take care of him."
"We also ran into a few other members, but they got away as well before a ton of orphans came around." Reina tells us. "Also, Kinuko is alive."
"That means we are one step closer, right?" Naito folds her arms.
"Yes," Reina answers. "The next time I come across her, I elect that all of you help me in taking her down, this isn't going to be a solo effort."
"Absolutely." Toyama spoke up. "Why wouldn't we not help you, Sensei, we all want to take her down, this is how we finally have a normal life, for all of us to finally slow down."
"He's right, we have to take down Kinuko, it's the only option we got for all of us now." Haruki says.
"I have to go talk to Satoru, now." I told everyone. I walked away from the group as we all got our gear off, and I head into the interrogation room, to wear my brother sits in a chair, wrapped up in a straitjacket, chained up to the chair, looking like hell. "Let's finally catch up."
