"Reina." I let out. The place is crowded, how do they not notice her? It's like she told them to look away. "Come home." I tell her. "Please, we miss yo-"
"I'm not coming back." She says.
"What?" I respond. "I have to move on, I have to end this once and for all." She says.
"Reina, you visibly look like death, you have kakuja markings, your eyes haven't even turned back normal yet, if you come back, we can help you." Usui says.
"I feel fine." Rei says.
"You're just saying that because you don't need help and that you feel that you aren't loved." Usui says. "I understand what you're feeling." Usui takes off her eyepatch. "Because I'm trying to heal myself." She shows her left eye, which has a gray sclera and red iris.
"You're a quinx?" Rei smirks a bit. "Never knew that."
"Because I forged my file, I was supposed to be in Qsquad, but my grandparents didn't want me to continue with the surgery, so I requested it behind their backs." She leans back. "Rei, come home." I started to cry. "Please." I get up close. "We can kill Kinuko, we can take her down."
"I'm doing it myself." She gets up.

"REI!" I run out of the building, chasing her. "Kaito, leave me alone." She grunts.
"Why do you have to leave, you're our family!" I shouted. "
Not actual family, a family I made to replace the family that I once had, now I got to go." She lashes.

"WE HAVE HARUKI!" I yelled. "WE FOUND HARUKI, PLEASE, JUST COME HOME!" I run up to her. "Or are you just going to ignore that, because you're so self-centered that you think we're liars, you don't trust us, right, what happened to you?" I ask her. "BECAUSE I'M NOT LYING!" I slapped her. "Bye, Kaito." She turns around. I'm angry, I was beat red.
"FINE, I DON'T CARE IF YOU COME BACK, YOU BITCH, I DON'T EVEN HAVE FAMILY, YOU CAN JUST PONDER AND PONDER TILL YOU DIE!" I pointed, to which she stopped walking. "OR EVEN BETTER, I WISHED YOU NEVER SAVED ME THAT DAY, YOU CAN GO TO HELL!" I shouted at her as she started walking again, going down the block. She turned around and gave a shocked expression, which then became sadness. She put her glasses on and quickly ran off.
"Why, Reina, why?" I started to cry.
"Kaito." Usui pulls me around. She slaps me hard. "What is wrong with you?"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Amano asks me.
"She can possibly never come back, if Hide hears about this, he'll get pissed." Naito tells me.
"Yeah, why would you do something so stupid?" Usui tells me.
"She changed, she's all mellow, and dark, Haruki wants to see his sister again, I had to knock something into her head!" I yelled at them.
"But that does nothing." Naito folds her arms. "Toyama, tell them I was wrong!" I point to him. "I kind of agree with them though, I don't really know." He says.
"Huh?" I said. "You guys never gave a shit about her till she found out she was a Washuu, you were prideful and boastful because she was the niece of the Director, and that she was so smart and would tolerate such delinquents, and you thought you were going to get off easily, Usui, you have so much presure on yourself and pride on your intellect, but you only give a shit about yourself, saying oh she's a traitor, she's never gonna come back, but I fucking believe she will." I told them.
"I was the only one who gave a shit about her health, Usui you neglected her, Amano and Naito, you made her worse, making her have so much stress because you two are so stupid and can't handle the simplest of tasks by yourselves." I scold them.
"AT LEAST WE GET ALONG!" Amano shouts. "Just because we get along doesn't mean you have to bring along your trauma of losing a family, it makes you ignorant, talking like you're different than us."
"YOU HAVE NEVER LOST YOUR FAMILY!" I screamed at them.
"What the hell is going on ?!" Kishimoto says coming out of the other room.
"I am tired of you all, I'm leaving the squad, officially."
"Leaving?" Kishimoto shouts as I started to cry again. "Don't you leave, Kaito!" He cried for me, grabbing my hand.
"I'm sorry, I got to go." I pushed him away.
"Good, cause I never liked you anyway." Naito says as I grabbed my coat and left the house.

"Hey, Kaito!" Haruki waves. I ignore. "What's wrong?" He asks me.
"I left the squad." I mumbled.
"What, why, I only been here for a week, did I do something?" He asks me.
"I'm sorry." I cried.
"Why?"
"I saw Rei today." I got up.
"That's great, how was she?" He asks.
"I yelled at her because she said she wouldn't come back, and said I didn't care if she didn't come back, I'm sorry." I mumbled.
"I'm not mad." He says.
"Huh?" I cleaned my nose.
"I would say the same thing you said." He smirks.
"Everyone is mad at me, I'm going to get some coffee." I get up. "I guess I'll see you around?" I waved. He looks a bit sad.

"You're back at the office?" Kaneki come up to my desk. Few days have passed since then, I was doing my work alone, afar from them. Ate my lunch alone, went to work alone, did everything alone, like how I did in the Academy. Jirou wouldn't stop staring at me though, he looked awfully sad.
"Oh, hi sir." I said to him.
"I thought your squad was heading to the 3rd ward?" He asks me.
"I quit the squad." I closed a file and put it in my drawer.
"Why?" He questions me.
"I hate them, they hate me back, it's not the same since Rei left, so why not." I sighed. "They blamed me because I yelled at Rei and told her not to come back."
"I was told the same thing years ago." He tells me.
"I'm going to stay out tonight, probably go to a restaurant." I left my table. My squad members are idiots. I head into a nearby Ramen restaurant and order some regular Ramen.
"Already, 12 AM?" I said, looking at my watch. "Better eat this quick." I told myself. I quickly ate my Ramen and left.

"Whatcha doing, good looking?" Some pervert comes up to me.
"Leave me alone." I grunted.
"Oh, she's shy." His friend says. They smell like total booze, makes me vomit.
"I said leave me alone!" I shouted at them.
"Well, screw you, bitch!" One of them yells at me. He goes to punch me and I miss, and I uppercut him.
"Woah." His friend says. "Oh shit!" He points to his friend.
"When the hell did I know how to fight?" I said to myself.
"Let's get out of here, that's that Washuu chick!" He runs.
"Huh?"
"Leave her alone, she's a student of mine." Rei comes up to me. "You okay?" She asks me. I ignore her. "Still mad, kind of understandable." She groans. "What are you doing here so late?" She says.
"I went to eat at a restaurant, do I have that privilege?"
"And not with the squad?" She asks me. I sighed. "Where the hell are those brats?"
"I quit." I mumbled.
"You what?" She raises her sunglasses, her eyes are normal again. "That's bullshit, why?"
"They yelled at me because I said you should never come back, what are you doing here?" I question.
"Looking for you, I found Haruki." She smiles. "When?"
"Few hours ago actually, when I left the building after talking to Kaneki, he mentioned that you were gone and told me to start looking for me." She tells me, which makes me start to cry.
"I'm so lonely." My voice cracked. "I'm sorry for what I said."
"It's okay, kid, I understand, I've gone through worse and was told things worse than that." She says to me
"Come on, I think I should bring back my good old punishments, how about that, and I swear on everything if you leave the squad again, I will kill you."

We get home late and quietly get upstairs. "Reina?" Haruki comes out of his room. "Haruki." She smiles somberly. He comes downstairs and hugs him. I look on above ad I head into my room. I get changed into a tank top and shorts and go downstairs to get a drink. "Kaito." Rei comes by me. "Look, don't worry about the incident, I knew you are just going through shit." She tells me.
"It's my fault." I said.
"They all hate me, who told you that I would be leaving?"
"Toyama and Kishimoto, Haruki told me that he yelled at them because they made you leave, I even heard Jirou got a little loud as well." She leans on the table. Her white hair falls on the counter. "Kid, you're not leaving, I'm not letting you leave, I'm still the squad leader." She tells me. "Sometimes you get into quarrels and lose, but that doesn't mean you shall not turn your back, try again." She says.

"Now, ALL YOU LITTLE SHITS APOLOGIZE TO KAITO!" Rei yells at everyone.
"WE ARE SORRY!" They respond to me, which scares me.
"You're all lucky you didn't get full blast." Hide says.
"Now, for your punishment, you will be reading the whole Sherlock Holmes series, annotating and notes."
"NOT AGAIN!" Amano yells.
"Kishimoto and Toyama, I will let you off with a warning, since you didn't blame her, and for telling me the situation as soon as possible, same with Usui, but you are still doing the punishment." Hide tells them.
"But with you Amano and Naito, since you aren't that intelligently gifted, you will been reading another series of your choice."
"This is stupid." Naito says. Haruki gives her a glare, which makes her scared.
"Arita, Kishimoto and Toyama, you will work on a special mission in the time being." Rei tells us.
