After a few minutes shay let go of me and said I'm sorry. I told her its okay and said i know what its like loosing your best friend its not easy. She asked what do you mean. I told her about Levi. She said oh. I told her if she needs anything just let me know. She said thank you than i walked out. Everyone was still in shock. Chief got up and said that its not going to do any good sitting here and that we should get back to 51. We head back to 51. Chief said that he will call in relief firefighters and paramedics so we can go home. As i was walking out i seen shay sitting and looked like she didn't wanna go home. I asked if she was heading home. She said that she couldn't go back there because gabby lived there with her. I offered her to come back to my place. She said yes. I drove us back to my place. When we got to my place I opened the door and told her that i had to get my dog from the neighbors. She said okay and walked inside. I get inside i see shay just standing there with a blank face. I asked if she wanted to a glass of water but she said no. I told her she can sit down. She sat down. Than my phone started ringing. It was chief boden. I was confused on why he was calling.I answered the call. "Hey kelly" he said i said "hey chief whats up" he said. " sorry for the tuff first shift this was one of the hardest shifts 51 has had" i said "it's alright and things don't always go as planned" he replied. "Yeah" and than said "i got to go" i said "okay bye" i hung up the phone and went back to shay. She looked up at me. I asked if she wanted anything. She said that she asked were the bathroom was. I told her were it was. After she got up i sat down and was on my phone. 10 minutes pass by and shay comes out of the bathroom. I said you should probably eat something since its getting late and she hasn't ate since lunch. She said she was fine. I said you should eat. She stayed silent. I ordered pizza because i didnt have much food at home and i needed to go grocery shopping. Once the pizza got here i got 2 plates i gave a slice to shay. She looked at it and after a few minutes she ate it. She said that she should go. I asked if she was gonna go stay at her place. She said no witch I figured she would. She said she was gonna get a hotel. I said she could just stay here. She hesitated than said yes. I told her were the guest bedroom is. She went in the guest bedroom. I grab my clothes and go get into the shower. After i got out i got dressed and brushed my teeth. I turned on my tv show. After a couple hours passes i look at my clock and realize its 11:00 pm so i turn my tv off and head to sleep. I wake up in the middle of the night for a glass of water. I see shay in the kitchen. I asked if she wanted a glass of water. She nodded her head. I gave her glass of water. I asked what she was doing out here. She said she couldn't sleep. I said do you want to watch something on tv. She said yes and turned on greys anatomy. After 35 minutes pass i look over and she was asleep. I got up and covered her with a blanket. Than i head to bed.
