kelly pov:
we are finishing un boxing matts things today. i wake up at 6:30 am the twins still sleeping thank god. i get up brush my teeth than go start the coffee maker. i make my self a cup of coffee. i feed levi and let him outside. and go sit in the living room. matt comes out in the living room. i smile and say "good mornig babe". we sits next to me on the couch and i lay between his arms. he gives me a kiss and says "good morning". we sit and talk. i let levi in and ask matt if he is hungry. he says a little. i ask "do you want to go out for breakfat once the twins wake up i dont particlury feel like cooking". he says "sure if you want". i say "okay". 15 minutes later i hear ty crying. i go into their room and see olivia is awake too. i change both their diapers. matt helps me feed them their bottles. i change the twins than matt and i change. and we leave to go to breakfast. we go to a new diner. we sit down and order. matt takes olivia. i can't help but smile at how cute he is and how good he is with the twins and i am so grateful for that. we order. we finish breakfast. we decide to take the twins on a walk in the park. i put them in the stroller. we walk around the trails i pushing them and matt looping his arm around mine. we pass a few people. we about to pass some guy walking his dog. we gives us a weird look and says something just loud enough for matt and i to here "fagots". matt stops and says "exuse me". he looks at matt and says "you heard me". i whisper saying " he's not worth it come on" and tug at his arm. matt gives him a death stare than we keep walking. we finish our walk and drive home. the twins fell asleep so i lay them down.
matts pov:
kelly and i go to breakfast. i hold olivia. i am so grateful to be apart of kelly and the twins life i really do love them like my own. kelly and i decide to go on a walk in the park. kelly pushes the twins and i looped my arm around his arm. as we pass some guy walking his dog he makes a homophobic comment. i say "exuse me". he says "you heard me". kelly tells me he is not worth it and tugs at my arm. pissed of a give him a stare and walk off. we finish our walk and head home. pissed and upset about what happened wishing the world was a safer and nicer place kelly and hopefully i caould raise the twins in but its not. we get home. the twins fell asleep so kelly lays them down. and we decide to start un packing the rest of my things. i un pack the rest of my clothes and throw them in the washer.
kellys pov:
matt and i are un packing the rest of his things. i find a horse figure. confused i ask matt what it is. he says in a concerningly ecicted voice horsey. i say "horsey?. he says "yeah my sister gave it to me one year when i was little my dad was shitty and my mother wasn't exactly all there mentally so when things got bad i had this and always knew i had my sister". i knew matts family wasn't exactly good either but i didn't know it was that bad. i say "oh i didn't know that i'm sorry babe". he says "ehh yeah it was a long time ago i don't tell nobody". i say "oh". he says "yeah". we finish un packing the rest of his things. we chill at home for the rest of the day. i bathe the twins and put them to bed. matt amd i watch a movie than fall asleep.

kellys pov:
matt and i anniversary is tomorrow. we plan on going to dinner. amelia is going to watch the twins. today the twins have their 4 month old check up. i call chief letting him know i will be late and to have cruz cover sqaud. we finish the appiontment. olivia hs been really fussy because of teething so i told the doctor and they told me a few thing that might help. i drop the twins off at amelias and get to shift. i hurry and change into my work clothes. i do some paperwork. and eat breakfast. i go and see matt in his office. he is on the phone with someone and hangs up fast. i ask "everything okay?". he says "yeah just someone about a construction job". i say "oh". and give him a kiss.
matts pov:
as i am on the phone with the jeweler about kellys engagment ring. i plan on asking him after dinner tomorrow it's been a crazy year and i wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life without him. i plan on picking the ring up tomorrow. he walks into my office. i hurry and tell them i got to go and hang up. kelly ask if everything is okay. i try to play it off saying it was just about a construction job he buys it and gives me a kiss. we get a few calls here and there. we only have 2 hour left of shift and we get a call of a motorcycle accident. we finish clearing the scene. and and i here a loud noise. kelly standing in front of me gets shot. and i feel is bood splater on me.
