Next week..
Kellys pov:
Me and Matt have plans to hang out after shift. I still have not really been myself i don't think anyone has really noticed. I try to keep a smile on my face when I'm around people especially with shay and Matt. As I'm in my quarters talking to shay the bells go off "all units structure fire". Once we arrive on scene the buildings is in flames chief orders truck and squad in to do a quick search. Once we get in there we find a few victims Capp and tony bring out. I find other victim that is pinned under a heavy medal shelf. I radio for some help and Casey comes once we manage to get the shelf off of him all exists are blocked. Me and Casey try to find a way out but we couldn't. My air tank runs out so Casey takes his off we switch back and forth breathing thru his air mask. Than his runs out. Chief still hasn't gotten a way out. Casey says "the hose if we can get a little air from it. So me and Casey get on the floor and start using the hose for air.
Caseys pov:
While kelly and i are using the hose i radio chief and say "we ran out of air".
Chief bodens pov:
I talk to the other chief and say "my men are inside we need to get them out". He says "we have to do the water canons". Cruz says "are you crazy that will burn them alive". The other chief says "we don't have any other choice cut all water off inside the building". Cruz says "they could be using the hose for air". The chief says "we don't have a choice".
Caseys pov:
I say "kelly". He says "what". I say "i love you" he says "i love you to we will make it out of here". Than the hose turns off. I say "what the hell". I grab Kelly's hand and we look at each other before we hear chief come in. He says "casey severide". He finds us and he gives us air and gets us out of the building".
Kellys pov:
Once we get out we get checked out by the paramedics than we finish the call and head back to shift. Once we get to the firehouse i see shay sitting in the common room. She comes up to me and says "are you okay". I say "yes shay we are fine". She says "don't do that again". "Do what again". I say. She says "almost die on me". I say "i wont". The rest of shift is pretty much the usual. Once shift ends i find Casey and we head back to his place.
Shays pov:
Once i get home from the firehouse i shower snd clean up the house a little bit and run a few errands.
Kellys pov:
Once we get to matts we chill for a little awhile than we go and run some errands for Matt. We decide to go to my place. Once we get there shay is not home. I make lunch. After i make lunch and we eat we chill for a little while. Shay comes home so i talk to her for a couple minutes than she goes to the kitchen. Matt has to go do something so i give him a kiss and hug goodbye. After he leaves I decide to just stay in for the rest of the day because i have nothing going on i head to my room and lay down.
Shays pov:
As I'm sitting in the kitchen i see Casey leave i see Kelly go to his room. He has been spending more time than usual in there. I know he hasn't been feeling the greatest. I haven't talked to him about it but i will soon.
Kellys pov:
After i lay down i end up falling asleep. I wake up 2 and a half hours later. I get up use the bathroom and than go let Levi outside. I go to the living room still kinda tired and see shay reading some book. Than she ask "are you okay Kelly". I say not exactly knowing how to respond "um yea why". Shay says "because you haven't really been yourself lately". I say "oh yeah its been a hard couple of days". While my eyes start tearing up a little bit. Shay says "I'm here to talk you know". I say "yeah i know its just i don't know its been hard lately". She says "oh". I say " its just no one knows this not even Matt not long after Levi died i was diagnosed with depression i don't tell no one this mainly because i don't want it to interfere with the job after i got to 51 things started getting better but know idk i just am starting not feeling myself thats why i have been spending so much time in my room snd stuff i just go in there and um cry I didn't want you to know because I didn't want you to think I'm not excited or anything about the babies". She says "Kelly i know you are excited and how much you love the twins and i know nothing can change that". I say while crying "yeah just please don't say anything to anyone". She says "i wont". I say "okay". She says "okay". I let Levi in than go sit back down with shay. She says "I have been thinking about the names for the babies". I say "oh". She says "I really like Tyler James i know you brought up Tyler before it there a reason behind it". I say "umm yeah it was levis middle name". She says "oh well I want to name the boy twin thats if thats okay". I smile and say "yeah thats umm thats great". She says "i also have been thinking about Olivia Anne for the girl I really love that name". I say "wait i really really like that name". She says "so tyler james and Olivia anne". I say "yeah". She say i also wanted them to have both are last names i say "okay". She says "so Olivia anne shay severide and Tyler James shay severide". I say with a smile "yep". Me and shay finish talking and just hang around for the rest of the day till we go to bed.
