kellys pov:
i head to the store to grab a few things for dinner tonight with matt. we get back and make lunch. i feed the twins and put them down for a nap. matt and i were talking and figuried that we should tell buck to bring someone since matt will be joining us for dinner. i text him saying "hey sorry for the short notice but since matt will be joining us i figured you might want to bring someone with you if you want and come at 6:30!". i put down my phone and matt comes from behind me and hugs me and gives me a kiss. i say "the twins won't be up for another 25 30 minutes probably". he says "yeah". i say "yeah", matt gives me another kiss and go to the bedroom and do the do. 25 minutes later matt and i are laying bed and tyler starts crying. i sigh and and say
"and ty is awake". ty is my nickname for him. i get up and grab him before he wakes his sister. matt and i chill at the house and i clean up a bit. hours pass and i get a text from buck saying that he will be here in 30 and he is bringing someone. so i start dinner. matt helps me cook. i say "do you think he will do okay at 51?". he says "yeah". i say "i remember my first shift". he says "yeah you asked me where chiefs office was". i say "yeah i remember thinking you were cute after that and walking to chiefs office". he smiles and says "really".i say "yup". while smiling". i say "that was a crazy first shift". he says "yeah didn't dawson die that shift". i say "yup". he says "oh". i say "you know shay never talked about her". he says "dawson was somthing". i say 'what does that mean". he says "she would hit on me after i would decline it obviously no one knew i was gay and she would keep doing it and she was kinda selfish too always got shay and her into trouble at work". i say "i can't see shay being friends with someone like that". he says "yeah she didn't wanna see it". i say oh". matt and i finish talking a here a knock at the door a little later.
matts pov:
kelly and i talk about his first shift which reminded me of dawson kelly ask about her. i think back to the type of person she was and how she was not the best person.a little while later we here a knock at the door.
kellys pov:
i go to open the door i open it and it is buck and another man. i greet them in i give buck a welcoming hug and matt comes over holding olivia. buck says "this is eddie diaz". i shake hands with him and i say "kelly severide nice to meet you". he says "nice to meet you". i say 'this is my boyfriend matt casey and daughter olivia". he shakes hands with matt. tyler starts to fuss again i say "exuse me". i go and grab him i pick him up and say "it's okay buddy". i walk back over with tyler and say sorry about that "this is my son tyler". i than say 'um dinner should be done soon make yourself at home". i set the table and dinner is done soon after. we all sit and down to eat we talk i say "are you exited to come to 51". he says "yeah everyone is great there". i say "yeah they are good people you can be yourself around them kinda have to be. mat nods in agreement. buck ask "how long have you been to together i say "about 9 months it was kinda a two drunk people getting together kinda thing i thought he was cute since i met him but didn't tell him there was only a few people that knew i was gay. one night we met up at molly's may have had two much to drink and it kinda happened. than we woke up the next morning and realized what happened we agrreded not to tell anyone in that moment but than uhh idk what to call her um twins biological mom was living with me at the time and we kinda walked out and she was sitting there giving us a confused look it was defenitly a akward moment". matt says "it defenitly was i remember the look on her face". buck and i chuckle". i say " how about you too". they look confused". and buck says "oh we arn't together we are just close friends". and gives eddie a puppy dog eyed look". i say "oh sorry my mistake". matt and i give each other that yeah okay look because there is defenitly somthing going on there. we finish dinner and they leave i clean up bathe the kids and put them down. i quietly shut their door. i see matt on the couch with a beer. i putthe baby monitor down on the coffee table. levi comes and sits by me and i pet him. matt says " i really thought buck and that eddie guy were dating". i say "right me too there is defintly something there". he says "yeah". i look down at levi and get kinda nervous because i want to ask matt a question. i say "can i ask you something". he puts his beer down and says "yeah of course what is it babe". i have been thinking you and i have been together for some time your here all the time amyways i was wondering if you want to move in".
matts pov:
kelly ad i are talking he ask if he can ask me something. he looks a bit worried. i say "yeah what is it babe". he ask if i want to move in". i get exited i say " yes of course i am here a lot anyway". with a big smile. he says "really". i say "yeah". he says " okay". with a big smile on his face. and we kiss.
kelly pov:
matt says yes and i get happy and relived he said yes he kiss. we sit and talk for a bit. matt decides to stay the night because it is late. we shower and go to bed.
