Couple months later...
Kellys pov:
Shay is now 37 weeks and is due to have the twins soon. We have been preparing the house and getting all the last minute things that we need to get. Everything has been going good I'm super excited for the babies to arrive. Matt has been super helpful so has everyone else.
Shays pov:
Im now 37 weeks and just ready to get these babies out and meet them. Im scared as hell but i know that kelly will be the best father. We get the adoption finalized witch he was super excited about he has been excited about every little detail. Shift starts soon so we get in the car. I have been just doing paperwork and stuff at 51 because I don't like being alone this far into my pregnancy.
Kellys pov:
We get to 51 and say hi to everyone. Everyone is in a good mood and excited for the twins to come. Herrmann comes over with a container to were me and shay is sitting "hey guys Cindy wanted me to bring these its a whole bunch of babies clothes I guess". "Thank you herrmann". Shay and i both say. A couple hours go by and i see shay sitting down holding her stomach looking like shes in pain. I ask "are you okay". She says "yeah just some braxton and Hicks. "You sure how close are they". "Every few minutes". "Shay I'm pretty sure thats actual contractions". "Yeah your probably right". "Well than lets get to the hospital". "Okay let me grab my stuff go to chief". I say "okay". And go and tell chief. "Hey chief shay is in labor". "Omg okay go i will cover". "Okay". I say exited.
Shays pov:
I go and grab my things while walking slow and holding my bump". I grab my things and head to the common room than i feel a gush. "Okay come on kelly my water just broke". Kelly grabs my things for me and matt and kelly kelp me to the car. On the way to med the contractions get more painful and closer. We get to med and find dr. Manning. She gets us to a room and checks to see how dilated i am. Your "9 and a half centimeters i will get the team ready". I say "okay" while holding kellys hand.
Kellys pov:
We get to med and shay is freaking out in pain as I'm super excited for the twins to finally be here. Dr.manning checks her and says shes 9 and a half centimeter dilated. By the time the doctors are in here shes 10.
Shays pov:
"Big Push one more time". Manning says. I push one more time and than tyler is out. "Omg". Is all i seem to be able to say. They put him on my chest for a minute until i need to push again for Olivia. I push a few times and Olivia is out. "They put her on my chest and i say "finally". I ask about tyler. "He looks good". The other doctor says. A hour later we have 2 amazingly Beautiful babies tyler being 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches and Olivia being 6 lbs "5 oz and 18 inches.
Kellys pov:
Shay gives birth. As i hold my son for the first time all i can think is how perfect him and his sister is and how today couldn't be more perfect. I smile at shay while we are holding the babies "I can't believe they are here finally". "Me either they are so perfect". I say "im going to text matt so everyone knows they are here". I message matt "Olivia and Tyler are here both perfectly healthy".
Matts pov:
I get a text after we just got a call. "Olivia and tyler are here both perfectly healthy". Everyone is in the apparatus floor so i say "shay had the twins both healthy". And everyone cheered i text back saying thats great.
Kellys pov:
Its been a couple hours and me and shay are i are chilling while i hold sleeping Olivia and shay holding sleeping tyler. I here a knock and say come in. Its herrmann boden and casey. Casey comes and gives me a hug and kiss and looks at Olivia as she wakes up. He says "she looks just like shay". "Yeah she does". And he smiles at her "want to hold her". I say. He says "yeah sure". I hand her to matt. Chief comes and congratulates me. While herrmann is holding tyler. They stay for a 25 minutes till they get a call. I take Olivia from matt and give him a kiss and tell him to be safe.
Few days later...
Kellys pov:
Today we can take the twins home so i grab their car seats and bring them up to the room. We pack up and sign the discharge paperwork than we head home. We put the babies in the back and shay sits in the back with them. We get home and i get tyler and shay gets Olivia. And he head inside shay gets inside and says "home sweet home finally". I say "yeah".
Shays pov:
We leave the hospital and head home finally. I have been having a easy recovery or as easy as birthing 2 twins out of a very small whole can go. We get home and i say home sweet home finally. Im excited to finally be home. I get Olivia out of her car seat. And feed him while kelly feeds tyler.
Kellys pov:
Its now later at night and nothing could be more perfect. I am so glad the twins are finally here and i am taking off a few weeks of work. I wake up at 1 am to tyler crying as me and shay are taking shifts. I go and grab him to what I expect him to be hungry. I see shay sitting on the couch with a little lamp on already holding him. "Want me to make a bottle". She says "yes please". I make a bottle and go sit by her. He finishes eating and we go back to bed.
Next morning...
Kellys pov:
I wake up at 6 am to Olivia crying so i get up and go feed her. I grab her and rock her in my arms so she will stop crying as i make a bottle. Than i see shay come out of her room with tyler. I say "good morning". She says "good morning". I feed Olivia and change her diaper and i go and brush my teeth to get kinda ready for the day.
