The bell rings and Emily gets up from her seat along with Tina.

"What class you have next?" "Uhh math. You?" "Health, but you seem cool so wanna hang out during free period?"

"Free period?" "Yeah it's like study hall, but you know kids usually just hang out in the halls and stuff."

"Oh ok sure where can I find you?" "Right here." The two girls are now right outside of Mr. Heins room getting ready to walk to their next class.

Henry catches Emily's gaze and starts to walk over there. "Hey what's up, how was your first class?"

The three start walking towards there classes Emily introduced her new friend Tina to Henry and it seems they both already like each other.

"Ok class please be seated." The math teacher begins with her lesson and Emily dozes off not waking up until the end of class.

'Wow, wayyy longer then expected.' She thinks to herself four minutes before the bell rings. "Excuse me Mrs, what is your name?"

The teacher ask standing in front of her. "Why?" "Well you slept through all of my class so I figured I might need your name for any future write ups if this becomes a problem."

She turns around walking away. Emily already hates this school. The teachers have officially ruined it for her.

The bell rings and Emily looks at her schedule while walking through the crowded hall trying to memorize it, until she accidentally bumps into a tall figure.

"You should maybe watch where your going." Emily looks up seeing Mr Heins standing above her, making her feel smaller then an ant.

"Oh, it's you again." She try's to walk around him but he scoots in her way stopping her, causing her to look up.

"What have I told you about that type of disrespect?" He stares down into her soul, hovering over her like a giant.

Making the all so tough Emily Hays feel like nothing less then a goldfish a week after being bought.

"Why does it matter so much.. I need to-" "That's detention. You will be staying after class during homeroom at the end of the day, I will be letting your parents know."

He moves out of her way and walks off before she could rebut against that. She frowns, this isn't much news to her but getting in trouble on the first day was. Usually it would be at least a week into school.

The bell rings and Emily starts walking to lunch. "Sooo, how's school? You like it so far?"

Henry says catching up to Emily. "This place is literally dogwater." Emily says shrugging, earning a laugh from Henry.

"Yo Henry! Come here." One of Henry's friends calls from behind. "I'll catch up with you later, ok?"

"Sure, see you later.." Emily stands in the doorway of the lunchroom while everybody finds their seats.

There's a lot of kids, causing Emily to feel nervous. "I'm pretty sure you're supposed to go in.."

Emily turns around, already used to the deep voice of the one and only Mr. Heins.

"Yeah I was going to go in, at some point. probably not today." "Well, you can't stand here, you have to go in."

Emily takes one more glance at the cafeteria, then turns around. "Imma go to the bathroom first. Then I'll head in."

"Well you should go quickly. your going to run out of time to eat your lunch."

He says walking around her into the room filled with loud teens to get his lunch.
