"Have you guys met the new boy yet? He's really cute.." Tina says as she catches up with Emily and Henry.

"No.. what's up with all these new kids.." Emily frowns as she stops at her locker. "See you later Henry." The two girls say as he catches up with his other friends.

"That's him." Tina quickly says as the new kid makes his way towards the two.

"Hi.." He says while putting in his locker combination. "Hey.. you new?" Emily says. "Yes. My names Rodger." He smiles as he puts his things away. He was a cute boy with black short hair and a light stubble.

"My names Emily. Do you know who your homeroom teacher is?" He looks down at his paper. "Mr. Hins?" Emily laughs. "Heins. He's the coolest. We have him too. Want me to show you around?"

"Yes. Thank you so much.." Tina smiles at Emily as they make their way to homeroom.

"Good morning Mr. Heins." Emily smiles as she makes her way to her seat. Rodger sitting down next to her.

"Good morning Mrs. Hays," He smiles before noticing the new kid next to her. "Hey you must be Rodger. I'll go get your Chrome book."

"So I can show you where these two classes are then Tina can show you where these are." "Yeah.. and they're really easy to remember.."

"Ok cool thanks." He smiles while taking a picture of his schedule. "Whoa.. are you new?" Violet says stopping in front of Rodgers desk.

"Yeah.. We moved here from south creek." "Really? I used to go there." Emily looks at Violet. "I thought you said you went to Northfield?"

"Did I? I don't recall ever talking to you." She smiles as she makes her way to her seat. Emily rolls her eyes.

"Here you go.. they're pretty old so if you have any problems with this one just let me know. I'm sure Tina here can help you log in."

Mr. Heins says as he hands Rodger his chrome book. "He seems nice." Rodger says while Mr. Heins makes his way back to his seat. "Yeah.. he is.." Emily smiles.

"So you're the new kid Tina was drooling over this morning?" Henry says while catching up with the group.

Tina rolls her eyes. "Yeah my names Rodger." "That's cool my names Henry." He smiles while shaking his hand.

"So do you want to sit at our table?" Tina asks. "Sure.. I mean where else would I sit.. you guys are like the only ones to actually talk to me." He laughs.

"Yeah.. the girls here are weird. Especially Violet.." "Emily.." "Sorry but it's true." "Who's Violet?" "The girl who tried flirting with you this morning in homeroom."

Emily rolls her eyes. "Wait what?" Henry says as they sit down at their lunch table. "Emily stop.. she was just making conversation." Tina laughs.

As everyone begins to eat Emily gets a notification from her phone. "My classroom. Now." She smiles as she looks around.

Tina notices. "Why are you smiling like a creep?" "I be back I have to go to the bathroom." Emily smiles as she quickly makes her way out of the cafeteria in hope that the teachers didn't see her.

As she arrives at Mr. Heins door, she knocks quietly. "Come in." She smiles as she walks in.

"Am I in trouble Mr. Heins?" He spins his chair in her direction. "Not at all Mrs. Hays. I just had a question.."

She smiles as she sits down at the desk in front of his. "I'm listening.." He gets up from his desk. Smirking as he sits on top of it.

"I was wondering if you wanted to spend Christmas Eve with me.. maybe even Christmas break.." She smiles. "What will I tell my family?" "That you're with one of your friends.. I rather spend time with you then spend time with my parents.. I could use a break from that.."

"Would Robby be ok with this? We don't want to confuse him.." He smiles. "Well I already told him that you're my girlfriend.. he knows who his real mom is.. so..."

"Well then.. I wouldn't mind getting some time away from my family.." "So.. this weekend? I'll pick you up.. then maybe we could go Christmas shopping for Robby.."

She smiles as she makes her way to his desk. Stopping right in front of him. "Sounds like a date." She looks at the door before kissing him slowly. He smiles. "You should get back to lunch Mrs. Hays you don't want to get in trouble.."

"Thank you for showing me around.." Rodger says as they stop by their lockers. "No problem.. since we're like friends now do you maybe want to come over Henry's house with me and Tina?"

"Sure.. will he be ok with that?" "Of course.. he could use another guy friend. I'll be over later since I have extended day." Emily smiles while grabbing her coat. "Ok I'll give my mom a call."

"Hey Mr. Heins are you busy?" Violet says while waiting in the doorway. "No.. shouldn't you be on the bus?"

"Extended day remember.." She smiles while sitting at the desk closest to his. "Oh yeah.. I forgot. Have you seen Emily? She has extended day too.."

Violet frowns. "No.. since when?" "Since she started." He smiles while putting away some papers. "So she just started?" "No.. she just wasn't here last week.."

"Oh.. you must've missed her." He looks at her. "Why do you say that?" "I don't know.. you two seem pretty close." She smiles while making her way towards the door.

"What makes you say that?" He raises an eyebrow while sitting down in his seat. She slowly closes the door, then makes her way to the front of his desk.

"Maybe I saw you two kissing or something.." He freezes. "Or maybe you were hallucinating.."

She smiles. "Oh Mr. Heins.. I'm glad to know that you're into younger girls.. it gives me hope.. maybe I have a chance.." She says while slowly walking around his desk.

He clears his throat and stands up. "I think you should make your way to the library.. they're going to be calling us up.." "I was planning on making a trip down to Mr. Norman's office.." He breath's slowly.

"Now why would you do something like that?" "I don't know.. maybe because I feel like it.. or maybe because you refused to change this grade.." She hands him her quiz.

"You're saying that.. if I don't change your grade.." "Then I'll tell Mr. Norman that you're fucking your students." He clenches his jaw.

"I don't know what you think you saw.. but what ever you saw never happened.." She smiles. "Oh really?" She pulls out her phone. Pulling up a picture of him and Emily kissing earlier during lunch.

"Listen Mr. Heins.. I have strict parents.. and as long as I'm taking home good grades every night.. then you'll have nothing to worry about.."

She smiles as she makes her way to his door. "I won't be here tomorrow.. we're starting Christmas vacation early.. have a nice break Mr. Heins."

He slams his door closed after she leaves. He rests his head down on his desk. Pulling out his phone to text Emily. "We can't do this anymore.."

After that, he packs up his stuff to head home. Letting Mr. Norman know that he won't be able to make it tomorrow.
