"You guys want to go to the movies tonight?" Henry asks as he walks up to Emily and Tina.
"Hell yeah. Emily?" Emily watches as Mr. Heins talks with her English teacher. "Emily?" "What? Oh yeah I don't know I'll think about it."
Emily shuts her locker. "You ok?" "Yeah of course. I'm just tired." "Or jealous.." Tina says under her breath.
Emily punches her arm. "Well I'll catch u-" They all freeze as they spot a crying Zoe. She spots them and walks towards the three.
"Zoe? Where the hell have you been?" Henry walks up to her and hugs her. "What's wrong?" Emily asks.
"I'm sorry... I fucked up.. we fucked up and I'm sorry.." She begins crying even more. "What are you talking about?" Henry backs away from Zoe slowly.
"I- I had to ok.. I got an abor-" "No.. stop Zoe tell me your fucking lying right now." Henry begins to cry. "Tell me your fucking lying right now!" He punches the locker and walks away.
"Henry wait." Tina follows behind Henry. "I'm sorry.." "I think you could at least tried to talk to him.." "I know.. I just.." "No. It's not me you owe an explanation to."
Emily walks around Zoe. She locks eyes with Mr. Heins, but doesn't say anything. As she sits down she gets a notification from her phone.
'He went home I'm Omw back save my seat.' It was Tina. "Ok so, If your in my history course there should be a practice quiz you fill out before the real quiz on Friday. I want you to do that now."
He begins as he writes on the board. "Mrs. Moon, you're late." Mr. Heins says as Tina sneaks her way to her seat. "Sorry my fr-" "That's a write up. I hope this doesn't become a problem."
He leans on the front of his desk. "No it won't. I promise." "Good girl." He sits down in his chair as everyone begins working on their quiz.
Emily staring at him as he does. "Oh my gosh.. did you he-" "Yes. Tina I heard. I know what he's trying to do."
"If he's trying to make me wet it's working." Emily looks at her. "I'm sorry, but come on he's Mr. Heins. You're lucky Emily remember that."
Emily looks down. "Did you talk to Henry before he left?" "No he didn't stop, he just walked out." "He's going to be in a lot of trouble." "I don't think so. The bell never rang. Meaning school never started."
"True.." Homeroom goes on, and eventually it was time to go. "Mrs. Hays May I speak to you." Mr. Heins calls from his desk with out looking from his computer.
"Someone's about to get railed.." Emily pinches Tinas arm. "I'll catch up with you later." Emily leans on the wall by the door.
"Are you going to come in?" "I am in." "Mhm.." He leans back in his seat. "I'm going to be late. Am I in trouble?" "No Emily. Your not in trouble,"
He gets up and closes the door. Now inches away from Emily. "You're mad at me.. and you have every right to be. I have been a jerk lately and I'm sorry. To make it up to you.. I got us reservations at the Gardens Inn for this weekend."
He gives her the ticket. She looks at it and smiles. "Wow.. this place is really expensive you didn't have t-" "I wanted to." He smiles.
"And I kind of had to.. see uhh when it comes down to making up for somethi-" Emily kisses him slowly before he could finish his sentence.
"Thank you Mr. Heins." "Don't thank me yet. Wait until you see the view our room has." She smiles as she puts her ticket in her bag.
"I love you Aron Heins." He smiles as he opens the door for her. "I love you more Emily Hays."
"What did you guys do?" Tina asks as they sit down at their lunch table. "Nothing.. but he did buy us reservations at the Garden Inn."
"What's that?" Emily laughs. "It's a hotel with a bar, movie theater, golf course, giant swimming pool, and carnival rides. All in one lot that's surrounded by a giant gate. It's beautiful."
Tinas face lights up. "You are soo fucking lucky. Does he happen to have three tickets?" Emily laughs as Zack sits down at their table.
"What you guys talking about?" Emily and Tina smile at each other. "Nothing." Zoe sits down at their table.
Everyone goes quiet. "Are you mad at me?" Tina rolls her eyes and walks away with Zack. "I don't know. I mean I understand why you did it.. but Henry was already thinking of baby names.. you should've talked to him."
"I know.. I wasn't thinking clearly and I freaked out. You think he'll ever forgive me?" "I don't know. This is a conversation you have to have with him." Emily spots Mr. Heins and her English teacher outside of the cafeteria.
"I have to go." Emily goes to dump her tray. Then makes her way towards the cafeteria doors. "Excuse me where are you going?" Her English teacher asks as Emily passes the two.
"The bathroom.." Emily locks eyes with Mr. Heins while biting her lip. "Well the bells about to ring. I think it can wait."
"It's important.. lady to lady.." Mr. Heins smirks as her English teacher quickly points to the bathroom.
"I'll catch up with you later Mrs. Brooks." Mr. Heins makes his way towards his class. Emily stepping out, as he passes the bathroom.
"Lady to lady huh?" "Yeah don't worry I haven't had one in two months.." He freezes and quickly looks at her.
"I'm kidding.." She begins laughing as he breathes out. "So what's up with you and Mrs. Brooks?" He raises an eyebrow as he begins to unlock his class door.
"What are you talking about?" "It's always the English teacher and the history teacher." "Well I'm in a very happy relationship."
He pulls her into his class shutting the door behind her. "Oh really? She must be one lucky lady.." "Indeed she is.." He holds her chin up as he kisses her slowly.
She wraps her arms around his neck as he picks her up and places her on his desk. "The door.." She says while pulling away.
"Of course.. how could I forget." As Mr. Heins begins to lock the door a knock comes from the other side. Emily quickly jumps off Mr. Heins desk, and sits down in her seat pulling out her phone.
"Mr. Heins are you busy?" It was Mr. Norman. "Uh nope I was just opening this door.. I forgot it closed by itself." He looks at Emily before opening the door all the way.
"Oh hello Emily." "Hi. Sorry I had to call my mom and forgot I left my phone in here during homeroom.. have a nice day Mr. Norman."
She makes her way out of the class. "She can be a very bright student when she wants to be." He says as he sits down at the desk closest to Mr. Heins.
"Yes very." "I came to talk to you about our new student, Violet Green. They said it's best if I informed all of her teachers that she can be very difficult. And it's no secret that you work very well with our difficult students."
"Of course.. sometimes they just need to know that someone's there for them.."
"Exactly. Which is why you'll be having her in extended day on Thursday. Do you think her and Emily would work fine together? I know the other kids will do fine, but we know Emily can be difficult to."
"Of course, and if things become a problem then I can easily separate them. I'm sure they'll probably get along."
"Great. She'll be starting Monday. Have a good rest of your day." "You to."
