I like to be alone
with my thoughts of you
Different spaces
On a star in the galaxy
Driving on the freeway in a fast moving car
Curled up under a blanket
My comfort is the soft plush fabric
and the picture I've painted of you
I travel the hallways of museums
each gallery a memory of you
Green shirt against a wine soaked fence
Intentions unspoken with a black shirt
But I read your mind
like a film that never ends
I replay these images over and over
so that a warm wave washes over me
I smile secretly, full of desire
Love has no boundaries
Only cages in which I willingly climb

Invading every thought
PoetryA book of poetry. These are my words, written about love, desire, romance, heartbreak, and all the feelings in between. My thoughts don't have to be spoken to be known. A work in progress.
