I was heady with three glasses of Merlot
when I climbed into the bath
Filling the giant vessel with
steaming hot water
and citrus scented bubbles
I slowly sunk back, inviting the water to
envelop me
running my toes over the cold silver faucet
noticing my blurred reflection in the metal
circle
Still giddy after warm releases
I messaged him, a simple hey
I'm in the bath
Innocuous words
filled with hidden meanings
wanting to tease him and feel his desire
for me
Let me see you he asked
so I sent that one picture of
my toes hooked around the metal bath lever
ankles crossed
like the way girls take photos when lying on the sand
at a beach
I can sort of make out your reflection, he says
My breath quickens, heated up once again
wetness dissolving into wetness
And I'm hooked
hypnotized and captivated, fully aware that
he is immersed in me
the insatiable hunger born in just one moment
