Chapter1| Long day

I'm closing up midnights the coffee shop I work at. I can't help but think of how messy my apartment is and today was a long and stressful day so now I have to worry about cleaning.

I finish up putting the rest of the chairs up the table and I go on to get my stuff to leave. I continued to lock up I sigh in relief with my back against the glass door then suddenly it starts raining and I'm left in shock at how much worse can this day get now I have to walk home in the rain.

My apartment isn't that far from midnights. I finally get back walking the halls to my door as water is slowly dripping off me there is a new smell suddenly in the halls the smell of vanilla mix with mint kinda an odd mix I think to myself I get to my door as I'm unlocking it the smell gets stronger I hear the door behind me opening I look over my shoulder to see my neighbor jean.

jean looks me up and down.

"Hey, y/n go for a swim recently".

haha very funny I say.

then my eyes go over his shoulder to see this tall green-eyed brown-haired man. his hair was in a half-bun with parts of the front of his hair falling down.

Oh, this is Eren he's my friend back from my hometown he moved here recently he's gonna be staying with me until his place is ready Jean said.

That's when I realized he was that new smell I smelled.

Nice to meet you. I hope you like it here I say.

we say our goodbyes, then I start to turn my doorknob as I hear Eren's and Jean's footsteps leaving the hallway. I walk in and greet my cat that came to my ankles.

"aw, I've missed you too lucid".

I look up to see my apartment a complete mess. I check my time to see it's 1 am and I have to be at work at 6 am. I take a deep breath and say to myself let's do this.

                                                                         ~ Fast Forward ~

It's 2:55 am now and I'm exhausted as ever and I have 3 hours left until 6 am. I skip my shower until the morning. I fell asleep as soon as I rested my head on the couch pillow.

The next morning came. the light from the sun peeks through my curtains waking me up.
