Chapter 17 | Rain Water

A couple of days go by and it's late in the afternoon, Levi came back from his business trip so I'm already at work, rush hour just ended today has been really busy and Levi has been extra moody than he usually is, staying behind the counter I can't help but to think of Eren and the way he kissed me, I wanna tell Sasha but I don't know how she's gonna react only way to know is if I do it so here I go.

Hey, Sasha.

Yeah, Sasha says eating one of the muffins.

Can I tell you something and can you not freak out.

Can't make promises especially if food is involved.

I let out a small laugh and smiling from thinking this is my best friend.

So a couple of days ago I forgot to lock up midnights, I say whispering For Levi won't hear,  and I leave around 3 am to lock up but Eren went with me and I had a headache so he told me to make coffee and long story short he kissed me right here where I'm standing.

Looking at Sasha her mouth was slightly open in shock.

I knew something was up! Sasha says spinning around, no wonder he was at your almost our apartment, so are you guys a thing, are you in love, wait no offense y/n but I kinda thought you were lesbian,

Sasha! I say as we both start laughing.

So what's the deal, Sasha says poking my shoulder.

literally nothing, it was just a one-time thing I guess.

I mean he's acting like it never happened and I'm not in love I don't even have his number.

So get it at the party, maybe this is a start of something.

l/n, Erwin wanted me to give you this. Levi says handing me a little red box with a gold bow.

Oh, thank you. I say getting the box from Levi.

Wait, Levi, I say before he leaves back into his office. You got an email. Saying we're nominated for best small business I forgot to tell you.

I'll look into it. He says walking into his office.

A couple of hours go by and Sasha already got off work. Time is starting to go slow again I'm not sure why I wanna get home so bad I have nothing waiting for me at home. I can't stop thinking about what Eren said, that I plan on working in a coffee shop my whole life, Do I? I ask myself, I mean I never really planned my life out I was taught to just live in the moment like hange always says. Seeing no customers around I decided to go talk to Levi.

Walking into his office I start the conversion by saying "do you think I'm gonna work here my whole life"

Tch I hope not. Levi says not taking his eyes off his book. 

But what else am I supposed to do, I say sitting down on one of his chairs in his office.
