Chapter 19 | The party

A couple of days go by. It's been normal with me going to work and Eren walking me home every night, but tonight is different, tonight is the party Eren invited me to. Still being at work Levi is letting me off early surprisingly,

Are you excited! Sasha says hugging me.

Being confused about what I'm supposed to be excited for, I remembered Sasha is moving in tomorrow.

"Yes obviously," I say after remembering.

Niccole is gonna help me move in, we will be there around 6 am. Oh and if you don't mind Connie is coming to the party with us.

Not at all, we'll be leaving around 8:30 PM.

Sounds perfect, Sasha says.

                                        ~fast forward~

Getting off work early, I make my way home to start getting ready.

Looking for an outfit I decided on my f/c long sleeve crop top and a black high-waisted skirt, it looked pretty good on me, I fixed my makeup as casually I could with just mascara and highlighter. I left my hair down and just started looking at myself in the mirror, I started feeling the anxiety build-up since I wasn't really used to this. I started overthinking and wanting to stay home, why am I even going just to prove to Eren I can be fun? 

Hearing a knock at my door, I walk over opening it to see Sasha and Connie.

Sasha Connie hi, I say.

Hey y/n you ready. Sasha says walking herself in with Connie, following along.

Yeah let me just get my bag and we can go.

How did you even get invited to a floch house party? Connie asks.

Eren invited me, wait how do you know about floch and what's the big deal with his house party.

I went to a couple of them, it's one of those parties a bunch of college students attended to and make it this big thing that's why floch is so popular.

And how did a loser like you get in? Sasha says.

Hey! I have you know I actually got invited from Floch himself, I wasn't some invite unlike you two. So I'm the coolest one here.

Yeah yeah, but seriously how did you get in Sasha says.

When your that cool you just get in everywhere Connie, says putting his arms around me and Sasha.

You sold them weed didn't you, I say.

Connie sighs saying "yeah, but I'm still cooler than you two let's go now". Connie then makes his way to my door opening it leaving me and Sasha behind following him.

Walking to Connie's car my anxiety is still twisting my stomach leaving me with second thoughts about going but there's no turning back since we're already on our way. I just need to suck it up and live in the moment as hange says.

Arriving at the party we get off the car, staring at floch's house it was 2 stories every window open and every light was on seeing a crowd outside in the front yard and some people in the doorway, I start taking deep breaths, trying to calm my anxiety, feeling someone hold my hand I look over to see Sasha.

Are you okay? She says.

Yeah, I'm fine.

You sure I can call niccole he can pick us up if you want?

No, I swear I'm okay let's go, I say giving Sasha a small smile.

Okay then, Sasha says still holding my hand walking with me inside. Connie already found his way in so it was just me and Sasha trying to see around the house for something to do knowing Sasha she would wanna go to the kitchen. Making our way to find the kitchen my eyes looked all over the place to try and spot out Eren.

Finally finding the kitchen, me and Sasha make our way to get some drinks out of the water cooler that was placed on the counter, grabbing a water bottle and Sasha grabbing a can of coke. Sasha starts grabbing a bunch of chips and offering me some.

No thank you, but hey do you mind if I go look for Eren?

Go ahead you know where to find me!

Walking out the kitchen and going through a hallway I hear a "y/n what you doing here".

I look over to jean with a smile on his face like he's happy to see me here.

Oh uh, Eren invited me in fact have you seen him?

Seeing jeans smile leaves his face he says "yeah he's outback, what you mean Eren invited you? When did he do that?

Almost a week ago? Why.

Just curious, any way you look pretty, jean says.

thanks, I say blushing, I think I'm gonna go find Eren now, it's nice seeing you.

Wait y/n, jean says, grabbing my shoulder, are you mad at me?

What no? I say Facing him.

You're not trying to avoid me right?

No, I would never I just been busy that's all.

Oh good because I actually missed you. Jean says scratching the back of his neck.

Thinking of what Eren said about jean using me I couldn't help but say "do you also miss mikasa"

What? Jean says laughing then slowly dropping his face like he understood what I said, wait did Eren tell you something? 

I mean you could have just told me you know, I would have understood you needed a distraction.

What! y/n it wasn't like that Eren's out of his mind.

I gotta go Jean, I'll see you later, but I miss you too.

Walking away from jean I make my way to the backyard seeing a pool and a bunch of fairy lights around lighting up the back yard, there were a lot of red solo cups laying all over.

Looking all over I finally saw Eren wearing black ripped jeans and a white shirt with some kinda key necklaces. His hair was like it always was, he was standing next to a tall blonde boy with his shirt half ripped off, why was it ripped off? Walking my way over to him,

He looked at me with a surprised look, "y/n, you actually came"

Yeah, I actually did, I replied. 

Wow guess Eren can make a girl come, the tall blonde boy interrupted.

Bro really? Eren says rolling his eyes. 

Looking over to see the blonde boy's face both our faces meet leaving us both in shock.

Reiner!?

y/n!?

Me and the tall blonde boy say at the same time.
