Chapter 21 | Boring day

*Knock Knock*

Slowly opening my eyes I hear someone knocking at my door.

What time is it? Looking at my phone it's 6:00 am who would come here so early

Making my way to my door I open it seeing Sasha with a big smile holding boxes with Niccole behind her also carrying boxes

y/n! Good morning, sorry I left the party early I had an emergency I tried calling you, sasha says walking in setting her boxes down in the front. Niccole followed behind her.

It's okay, it was better you did.

Oh, really why?

Long story, I'll tell you at work I'm gonna take a fast shower go ahead and Seattle in.

Turning around to walk to my room I feel Sasha hugging me from the back.

Thank you, y/n. Sasha's hug was something I needed. It made me feel slightly better.

Rushing in and out of the shower. I put my uniform on. Looking in the mirror I say to myself "ready to start my boring day" why am I letting Eren get to me? Shaking off all the thoughts.

I grab my bag making my way to the front.

I think that was the last of it, Sasha says wiping her forehead from sweat.

The front room was crowded with boxes half of them labeled as "snacks"

Sorry y/n we'll have this all sorted out, niccole says.

Don't be sorry, this is Sahsa's apartment just as it is mine.

In fact, here's the key, make a copy of it I haven't had the chance to yet. I say handing niccole the key.

I don't start my shift until 11 am today so I'll see you at work, Sasha says.

See you, I say hugging Sasha bye. 

                                             ~fast forward~

Already starting the day and my shift, hours go by Sasha also being at work it's now time for our break, Sasha asks me if I wanna come to lunch with her and Connie, saying yes we make our way to meet up with Connie having lunch at a sandwich shop, already ordering our food we make our way to sit outside at a table with a red umbrella open. It was pretty sunny outside. Despite what's the weather been like, It was actually nice. Most of our conversations were just small talk.

"Anyway, how was the party after I left" Sasha say's.

Well after jean and Eren's fight it went downhill, Connie says digging in his bag of hot Cheetos.

jean and Eren fought? Sasha said. 

Yeah, it was pretty bad, jean left with a black eye, and Eren had a bloody nose.

Wait they continued after I left? I say.

Oh yeah, you weren't there during all that, if you don't mind, what did Eren say to you that made jean so mad? Connie ask's

Just stupidness, he thinks I hooked up with Jean and Reiner. So jean was probably mad at that. I say.

What! Sasha says laughing, you? And jean? That's something I thought I'd never hear.

I don't think it was that, jean never mentioned that, he only mentioned Eren lying to you. Connie said.

Lying me? about what, I ask.

No idea Connie, says eating the last of his sandwich.

We should get going y/n, Levi wants to have a talk later. We both know how that goes Sasha says.
