Rapunzel's P.O.V.
I sat alone, waiting. For something, anything to happen. The floor of a bridge of some type was cold and grey. There were so many of these small, straight bridges, some even upside down and diagonal. Cages hung everywhere. Somewhere close was an old large brown globe. Normal stairs led up to it. I think that's where Mother Gothel and Pitch went. I was left there while they went to discuss some plans involving his nightmares.
I knew Jack was coming. He wouldn't forget. He couldn't. Not again. Hopefully he escaped the tower...
He's fine. He has to be.
"Aw Rapunzel. Here you are." Pitch walked in from some dark hallway.
"Right where you left me." I stood up. "A few hours ago." I retorted, tired of the gloomy place.
"Oh yes. Your mother and I had some..discussing to do. Anyway, she thought since all of the recent events, we should tell you something of great significance. We both agreed it was for the best in light of what has happened. We believe it will not alter any of our plans." He paused. I looked at him, waiting for his point. He also seemed to enjoy the attention.
"It will indeed change your life, but not drastically like you may think when you hear it. Because of the whole situation, what I am going to tell you will neither change us or change what we have in store for you. You are an important pawn in our plan."
"And you point is?"
"You are...." He paused for a unnecessary dramatic effect. I had to know. His blabber made it sound like it was life changing. I was a pawn in his plan. Why do they need me? Maybe it has something to do with what his is about to tell me... I had to know. I was screaming in my head, spit it out already!
"Actually I will tell you later."
