Chapter twenty_four-Corona at last

Jack's P.O.V.

Morning came. Rapunzel could not sit still. The minute I opeaned my eyes I saw Rapunzel right in my face. I screamed and fell of the uncomfortable log. I groaned.

"Jack! You ok?"

"Oh I'm wonderful..." I said sarcastically.

"Ok great! Lets get going!"

I smiled and stood. I looked around. Hiccup was drawing something in the dirt with a stick and Merida was carving something on her bow.

"You guys ready to head out?

"Definitely!" Rapunzel answered immediately. Everyone else nodded.

We packed up our few things and walked to the village.

Once we reached the bridge that led to the kingdom Rapunzel whispered to herself but I could hear," Corona at last. After 18 years."

In the village, Merida immediately saw the wood shop and dragged Hiccup along with her.

Punzie spotted a bakery and ran towards it. The whole day was a blast! We had cupcakes, and other treats. Three red headed girls braided Rapunzel's hair. It was filled with flowers and it almost touched the ground. She saw a portrait made of colored stones. A little girl and her mother put a flower there. The mother was holding a 1 year old.

"This is for the lost princess." The 6 year old said placing a purple flower. Rapunzel didn't hear. The portrait was of the king and queen. The queen was holding the lost princess who was kidnapped when she was a baby. The baby looked kind of like Rapunzel...

All of the sudden, Punzie dragged me to the town square when her and some children were drawing on the stone with chalk. Rapunzel did a huge purple flower with people all around it. It was beautiful.

Later we were waiting in line to buy some apples from a cart in the square, when a few young men started to play music. Rapunzel started to dance. She began to pull people to dance with her. A young boy. Two gentlemen. A older women. Lots till almost everyone was moving to the rhythm. Punzie motioned for me to join her. I signaled I'm good. She came and grabbed my hand and forced me to dance. I smiled and joined in.

We were dancing with partners and traded according to the dance. I kept trying to dance with Rapunzel but other people grabbed my hand and made me dance with them.

Finally at the end, Rapunzel and I joined hands right as the song stopped. We were out of breath and smiling.

Somewhere in the crowd a man yelled, "To the boats!"

Time for Rapunzel's dream to come true.
