Jack's P.O.V.
Pitch had come in the room. He strode carelessly over to Hiccup and Merida. Hiccup suddenly brought up the knife towards Pitch.
Inches before it hit him, Pitch grabbed his wrist. He twisted it the wrong way forcing Hiccup to drop the knife.
"Stop! Stop it!" Merida yelled.
Pitch casually looked at her. Then, he thrusted Hiccup's wrist to the ground, and the rest of him followed suit. He groaned and grabbed his twisted wrist.
"Pitch! Leave them alone!" I yelled. My hands and feet had gained feeling again. I stood, still a little close to the wall in case I fell over. Maybe I wasn't in the best shape to make threats...
"Okay."
Wait what? My face must have shown my confusion, because Pitch grinned.
"Don't worry about them, Jack. You won't need to worry about anything anymore. Its time to begin. Where's Rapunzel?"
Merida and Hiccup exchanged glances.
Just then, Gothel and Rapunzel came into the room.
"I just found Rapunzel locked in a closet!" Gothel said.
Hiccup and Merida burst out laughing. I joined in. I looked over at Rapunzel to see her reaction.
She was laughing too. And I thought I saw a flicker of green in her now grey eyes.
Pitch and Gothel were looking at us like we were crazy, but to me, it felt like we were true friends.
"Laugh all you want! It's time to begin. Let's go." Pitch said.
