Rapunzel's P.O.V.

"I don't believe you." I said holding back the tears.

"Of course! Who would believe the boogeyman? 'Oh the boogeyman isn't real!' Just a story under the bed!"

I must have struck an old wound. He was angry. Then he smiled.

"Rapunzel. Why would Jack stay? He didn't stay before. He forgot about you. Jack left you in that tower to rot!" His crooked smile told me not to believe him. My heart said other wise. He did leave. Even though he did it to stop Pitch, he didn't come back right away. Jack forgot about me. Jack is the reason I'm so scared.

"He-he came back before. He will do it again." I said weakly. The tears streamed down my face one by one.

"You don't trust him. You never told him about your hair."

I was taken aback. The only person who knew was Mother Gothel. She would never tell.

"How did you know about my hair?"

"I'm afraid that question will have to wait. Until next time maybe. But now you must come with me. You have no reason to stay. Mother Gothel will be joining us as well. Do you really want to go back to that tower for another 18 years?"

My eyes stung. I felt cold and alone. No one understands what it's like to be left and forgotten. Jack may be Frost, but he is cold hearted.

I took Pitch's hand and let him lead the way.
