Merida's P.O.V.

Rapunzel is no longer my friend. Never again.

Unless she changes sides...

No! She has already chosen her side. She was my only friend. Besides Jack and Hiccup. But, I don't think we will live long enough to make "friendship bracelets". I don't know what Pitch has planned, but he keeps talking to Rapunzel about how she won't need to worry about her tower anymore.

Hiccup still hasn't woken up. It's been 3 hours since we were kidnapped. We are locked in the woman's room with the curly black hair. I assume she is Rapunzel's mother.

Speaking of mothers, mine is going to kill me. You know, if I ever see her again. I sound like I have given up. I have to get out. But, how am I going to get out when I have to drag two boy's butts around?

I look around. Boring velvet curtains hanging on the perfectly made bed. No windows. Not suprised. This whole tower is a downer, attempted to be a happy place. At least in Rapunzel's room with all her paintings.

Hiccup's and my feet are bound with rope. So are our hands and a cloth covered our mouths. I managed to pull down the cloth with my hands. I gently pulled down Hiccup's too.

I searched the best I could. Under the bed: nothing. Closet: nothing. Dresser: nothing. Bed side table: something. I used my nails to open the top drawer. Inside was a comb, hankercheif, and a knife. I sort of picked up the knife and carefully cut the rope on my feet. I tried to cut the rope on my wrists, but I just gave myself a shallow cut on the side of my hand. Instead of giving myself more cuts, I cut Hiccup's bounds. When I was cutting the rope on his wrist's, it slipped at fell, cutting his arm.

Hiccup's eyes suddenly opened, and he sat up screaming, "Why do you keep hurting me?!?"

I covered his mouth and looked at the locked door. I heard footsteps. I grabbed Hiccup's arm and ran next to the door. He screamed again, so I let go to reveal I snatched his cut arm. "Sorry." I whispered.

The door opened, nearly squishing us into the wall. I could see the back of Rapunzel's head. Her long hair trailed after her. She looked around for us and she paused just past the doorway.

My grip tightened on the knife.
