Jack's P.O.V.
All those years with Rapunzel were stripped away into nothingness. She thinks I did nothing but leave her in that tower. In this tower that I am now imprisoned.
How ironic.
I am the Guardian of Fun. Look what I have done. I took someone's fun and happiness and I will pay for it.
I remembered all the stories I told Rapunzel. She loved Cinderella. And Jamie loved the frost bunnies. Then I realized I never shown Punzie the bunnies.
I thought of the time I told Rapunzel the story of how I threw a snowball in Pitch's face. How I made everyone laugh even though Pitch could have won. I laughed lightly at the memory.
Pitch froze and turned around. Gothel and Rapunzel were in her mother's room undoing her hair. Pitch was going over some map on Rapunzel's bed. He stared at me still tied with chains but no mouth rag (Thank goodness). He slowly walked over to me and looked down slightly angry but mainly confused.
"Why are you laughing?" He spat.
"Oh I just was thinking of the time I threw a snowball in your face" I started talking louder to Rapunzel could hear. Maybe she would forgive me if she remembered how I made her laugh. I could barely see her head turn through the doorway.
Pitch looked at the floor and let out a fake chuckle.
"And I seem to recall the time I broke your staff and left you in the cold to rot. Now I have learned from my mistakes." He had an evil grin on his face.
"What are you talking about?"
He waited a moment enjoying my uneasiness. "I plan on burning it."
