"How do we do this?" Kallen asks.

She went with it so casually that I almost forgot that we are in a current predicament and are pinned with gunfire... virtual gunfire. They won't stop wasting their bullets on our direction when it's clear that it has no effect. We didn't program stuff to make it go through physical walls. That's just physically impossible with the knowledge that we have. Logistically as well since that would mean attaching programs to every physical object within the campus. Don't have money and time for that. I snuck in a headshot and it did nothing but agitate them more. They do seem to keep their distance though so I guess most of them, or at least the one handling them, are stupid buckheads in warfare.

"Let's see... Most are amateurs in team fight, so we do it like we usually do." I offered.

I guess Kallen really is confirmed to be Zephyr. How? She didn't even need any explanation from me or whatsoever and just sprung into action. Caught me off-guard to be perfectly honest. She dashed towards the right, downing ten of the vanguard shooters. Those at the left side shifted aggression towards her, hitting those at the middle and right flank in the process. Now that they are not focused on me, I ran a few blocks away to take cover and conceal myself.

I lay prone by the shrubs and started picking them off one-by-one, focusing on those at Kallen's blind side while she darts through the whole battlefield like thread hastily sown through various ends of the cloth. What remained is a caricature of dead, or should I say paralyzed, bodies while Kallen stood in the middle, gun held in one hand.

That said, we aren't the untouchable characters we control from within the game. I just know that she did also employ some sort of cheat modification with her gun otherwise she'd be eliminated with her clumsiness already.

"Oh, ummm... my gun stops bullets from guns fired within a range from working. Although I only got the normal bullets as the object of the cheat so your bullets are fine since you edited them. We're still vulnerable to long range attacks though since all it does is slow them if they came from the outside."

"Nah, that's fine. They suck at aiming long range and still have physics to account for. We can just dodge it at that point."

"Well it is a cheat. At least that went a bit better." She said, pointing at the holographic board, as I was walking towards her.

"Two-hundred left, huh." I said as I sigh "This would be a tiring night."

"What do we do now?" She asks.

I told her that we'd find another nearby location, then proceed with the whole target picking thing. We can't just afford to charge in unless they are all confined in a single area otherwise we still need to watch out and dodge attacks from afar. I doubt we would have the stamina for that.

We casually walked by the thicket of trees, careful as well not to make any unnecessary attraction. We suddenly got open-fired as we approached CoE territory. Having no cover from being open-fired, I dropped and rolled sidewards to the left and started returning fire as Kallen dashed to the right, trying to find the perfect moment to breach the fort. From my estimate, ten currently firing at us. Maybe more are hidden somewhere. I took down two from the front to get noticed. Just as planned, they shifted sights to me as soon as vanguard shooters fell in front of them. In perfect timing, Kallen pierced the flank, dove straight to the rear and landed on her back before spraying bullets in a horizontal line in just a split second. The eight remaining dramatically dropped at the same time. Count is now 190:2. Not that significant of a change but I'll take it.

I helped her up.

"This was waaaay easier to do in-game than in real life." She said as she rubbed her back in pain.
