After a long day in the dungeon, Bell walked through the crowded streets in Orario as the sun was about to set. He could see various adventurers exiting the dungeon, some had various degrees of success while others exited with injuries with the lack of loot to show.
After exchanging his loot into valis, Bell as usual is headed towards his home. Deciding to take a shortcut in a dark alley, for some reason he ended up in Daedelus street, a place akin as the slums in Orario with a layout not all that dissimilar to a maze.
He didn't know where he was and after turning back to trace his steps there was a wall that didn't exist before blocking his passage.
At this point both Bell and Meliodas were confused, this area in the city was unknown to them and they didn't know how they ended up here.
He got weird looks from the residents there but ultimately most decided to ignore him, there were only a few bold ones eyeing his pouch full of valis but unlike last time, Bell didn't present himself as a naïve rookie but instead that of a strong adventurer and remained vigilant, sending an aura of caution and vigilance that deterred most of the people that had any malicious intent.
Most of the residents were just ordinary citizens and the various thugs and criminals were only level 1s and 2s, they spent most of their time idling about and mugging people instead of training and getting stronger in the dungeon, so they'd be hard pressed if they think they can go unscathed when mugging an active adventurer that seems strong, indicated by his aura he was releasing, even though his appearance is somewhat unintimidating.
His training with Meliodas weren't just for show, as the latter taught Bell how to carry himself properly, Meliodas felt that Bell's timid and shy nature will get him in a lot of trouble, so to nip the bud of the problem, he corrected his behavior a bit.
Bell was trying to familiarize himself on where he was, even as he tried asking the residents but they just mostly ignored him, sending scowls and irritated looks.
It was getting dark and then he was panicking a bit when he realized he was going in circles, he had even passed the same barrel with a sleeping cat on top of it three times now. Even with Meliodas' guiding him and his attempts to memorize and map their location, even with his near perfect memory, they seem to be lost and looped around the same place.
Just when Meliodas was about to suggest to jump on top of the buildings to get a better view, a girl's scream could be heard in an alleyway across, screaming for help but every passersby seem to ignore her plead and went about their business, like this type of situation was commonplace.
Unable to ignore a call for help with his hero complex, Bell quickly jumped into action and ran towards the dark alley as he said "Hey! Stop harassing that gir-- Kami-sama?!!!"
To Bell's surprise the girl that screamed for help was none other than Hestia, in her hands she seems to be holding a case that looked expensive.
There were a lot of questions going through Bell's mind, like 'What is she doing here?' and 'That looks expensive, did she seriously buy whatever that thing is?'
It wasn't until Hestia screamed at the top of her lungs as she bolted towards Bell that he snapped out of his stupor and said "My Hero! Bell I'm glad you came to save me" as she was dodging the thugs as they tried to catch her.
Bell outstretched his arms and caught her in mid air as she hugs him as hard as she could while tears were flowing on her face.
"Fcuk another one of these brats thinking they are some sort of hero, annoying piece of shits, hey brat if you don't get the fuck out of here, I'll bend your bones like toothpick" Thug A says, he looked like he was the leader of the group, he was the biggest and burliest as he towered everyone in the alley at a height of 195cm.
