Meliodas prepared himself as he engaged the minotaurs, he took on a battle stance and both sides rushed towards each other

"Bell, watch carefully and take some mental notes, this can serve as your training" Meliodas said with a confident tone.

Meliodas tried the hit and run tactic that Bell often used but it was an improved version, since agility is Bell's specialty he adopted Bell's fighting style and improved it. He wanted Bell to learn as much as he can while also measuring up on how he compares to monsters that is measured to be level 2.

Meliodas then heard footsteps coming his way, but didn't mind it since it was human sized footsteps that he heard and it was very fast at that, he concluded that it must be a high leveled adventurer, he was worried that the incoming adventurer might steal his monsters but remembered that there is a rule that prevents other adventurers to steal others' catch. And also since it was a high leveled adventurer, he/she wouldn't care about level 2 monsters.

Another reason why he didn't mind it because he was in the middle of a life and death battle, he didn't have the luxury of splitting his attention since one wrong move could endanger both him and Bell.

He was also curious on why that adventurer was just standing there and there seems to be another strong adventurer just behind him/her, he didn't take a glance at them and also it was a bit dark, 'maybe those adventurers wanted to watch?' Meliodas thought.

Completely focusing on his fight, he realized that the minotaurs were much stronger than he thought or maybe he overestimated Bell's stats a bit, either way he doesn't come from this world and doesn't know much about the world's monsters, he fought minotaurs in his world of Britannia but they aren't the same and he got too cocky and started regretting his decision, just when he said he wasn't gonna disrupt or interfere with Bell's life, he forced his ideas on him without his permission and took control of his body. He started to feel a bit guilty but knew it was too late to turn back now.

He barely did any damage plus he was equipped with cheap daggers that could crack at any moment, it didn't help much at all and all he could do was dodge and effectively use his movements to maximize his attack power while preventing the daggers from breaking. He had superior experience and it wasn't for that, he wouldn't be in a sort of equal standing with the minotaurs.

But he wasn't that worried, he still hasn't used his skills and magic yet. He was just testing things out with just Bell's raw stats and effectively comparing the change in combat power with and without using skills and magic.

Bell was witnessing all of this, honestly he was amazed beyond anything he thought was possible. He saw Meliodas' fights through his memory but witnessing it firsthand was different. His experience played a big role in this fight other than his status. Even though they would have the same stats, if Bell was the one who fought the minotaurs he felt that he wouldn't last as long as he did. He was watching and observing this fight, learning as much as he can to get strong as fast as he can.

Then Meliodas was satisfied and had enough and then used Hell Blaze, he dodged the incoming strike from one of the minotaurs and sliced its arm. The minotaur roared in pain and Meliodas was satisfied with the results. 'This magic is overpowered, it wasn't this strong back in my world, but no complaints here' Meliodas thought.

"A flame enchantment spell?" Bete says with a surprised tone, he didn't expect such a strong magic to appear from this boy and sliced off the minotaur's arm completely clean.

"Seems so and it also doesn't require a chant" says Ais, while keeping an expressionless face on the outside but on the inside she was excited and thrilled and mini Ais' eyes were sparkling watching this spectacular fight.

"Tch, how come we never heard of this brat before? Is he new here?" Bete asked, curious of the boy that was busy fighting the minotaur.

Ais was silent and continued to observe the battle.

As their conversation went on, Meliodas used Hell Blaze again and strike it on another minotaur's shoulder.

Ais then realized that the left over flame from the one minotaur that got its armed cut off was still there and the one of another's shoulder as well. The minotaurs tried to extinguish the flames but to no avail. 'An inextinguishable flame that lingers?' Both Ais and Bete thought.

Meliodas began to feel a bit drowsy, he had no knowledge of the term 'Mind Down' because Bell didn't know of it either. He just thought that Bell's body was just exhausted from all the action and just ignored it.

Bell has been using Hell Blaze a lot because he was very excited on using it, despite Meliodas' effort to tell him to stop or to tone it down, but Bell kept on insisting. So he left him be, ignorant of the consequences.

So he decided playtime was over and used Demon Mark to end this fight once and for all along with Hell Blaze, so he doesn't pass out from exhaustion.

The sudden increase in power surprised both observers as some sort of small but weird tattoo appeared on his forehead, it felt sinister and they almost tried to grab their weapons out of pure instinct but it had no 'evil' intent to it and just continued watching. They just concluded it was some sort of powerup skill.

But one thing that left them puzzled, is that he was obviously starting to feel the effects of mind down, 'so why isn't he chugging down a potion and instead used more magic and charged at them' they thought, from their perspective the way he fought was that of an experienced adventurer and they speculated that he was somewhere between level 2 or 3.

But his equipment was that of a rookie, even his dagger looked like it was rented from the guild for beginners to use and right now he is making a stupid rookie mistake and didn't drink a potion when he had plenty of opportunities to.

He went towards to the minotaur with one arm and sliced off his head like butter and immediately turned to ash, dropping its horn. Another minotaur went behind him to strike him in his blind spot but Meliodas outmaneuvered it and countered with a strike on its neck, once again cutting the head off another minotaur.

Then his daggers suddenly shattered, after 2 weeks of constant usage without maintenance, it reached its durability limit. He didn't care though as there was one left and with his current power he could take it on, the minotaur looked at the boy with anger and went on all fours, indicating that the minotaur was getting desperate and serious. But then he started feeling sleepy and fell on the ground.
