The swordsmanship that Bell got from watching Zeldris was incomplete.

It's a no-brainer since Bell only got a limited amount of time to comprehend it.

But the fact that his swordsmanship development ability is ranked D, just shows how powerful Zeldris' swordmanship was.

Bell attempted to enter that state of enlightenment when he saw Zeldris in action from Meliodas' memories but found out he was unable to. All he could see was a blurry and foggy outline of a figure wielding a sword.

Fortunately, he has Meliodas with him. Meliodas has the authority to basically grant Bell access to his memories.

The blurry and foggy memory that Bell tried to peek into was now clear as HD with Meliodas' help.

Basically, Bell now has a guideline he could use to learn swordsmanship, like watching a tutorial video from youtube with Meliodas narrating and explaining things to him.

Of course, swordsmanship training would be put off the table for now because Bell had just began grasp the basics of bodily movement and control.

He had beaten Tristan in the duel, no doubt about that, but that's only because Bell caught him off-guard by suddenly learning Zeldris' swordsmanship, if they fought again now, with the conditions of banning the uses of magic and skills, Bell would have less of a chance of winning now that Tristan had some understanding of Bell's fighting skills.

He could perform the swordsmanship for a minute before his joints would make popping sounds. And although as a level two, he has a body that could withstand strong impact of forces, putting a D-ranked development ability on a newbie is actually more harmful than beneficial.

Like a toddler or a child trying to wield a heavy weapon, they would just injure or hurt themselves.

Must I remind that the strongest adventurer in Orario, Ottar only has an E-ranked development ability as his highest ranked one, with the only precedent that you could only rank it up through a level up, the fact that Bell received a D-ranked ability at level 2 could already considered be a blessing from the Heavens.

Even though he got a new trump card up his sleeve, it has certain limitations. Meliodas advised not to use the swordsmanship unless backed into a corner with no other choice.

Of course, if Bell leveled up some more and continued to develop, in the long-run, the benefits would become more obvious and the downsides in performing the swordsmanship will be negated.

With the fact that Bell learning Zeldris' swordsmanship came to light, Meliodas adjusted Bell's training routine a bit.

'If one relied solely on hard work and constant training, they would not experience any significant improvements. The simplest method of increasing one's skill in combat is to improve their control over their own body.'

'Take a person's physical strength for example. In a test, an ordinary person might land a 50kg hit on the first punch and 70kg on the second punch; this was a very wide margin. Meanwhile, this margin would only grow wider in a fight against another person. '

'However, if a person underwent training and often participated in matches against other people, the fluctuations in their strength would become practically negligible and stable. With a stable output of physical strength, one's body would not break form due to using too much or too little, thereby reducing the chances of creating weak points for one's opponent to exploit.'

'Many experts were even capable of achieving a level of control with which they could exert as much strength and accuracy as they wanted. For example, if they wanted to send out a punch with 90kg of force, they could do so. One could say that their physical control had already reached perfection.' In the soul realm, Meliodas took the stance and demeanor of a teacher, almost reminding him of his days when his mentor, one the original Demons, Chandler was nurturing him.
