Chapter 43 : Arrival of Troubles

In the twilight mansion, a shout of disbelief reverberated in the halls.

"What?! That crazy white haired bastard leveled up in just 3 weeks??? Bullshit!" Bete screamed in irritation while holding a parchment in his hands that contained Bell's information and his historical record-breaking level up.

Ais just returned from training when she walked in the room, along with Lefiya, Tione and Tiona just in time to hear Bete's loud screaming.

She took the paper from his hands and read the contents in it, surprise was visible in her eyes even though her facial expression didn't change

"Wow, 3 weeks?? How did Argonaut-kun do it?" Tiona immediately took the paper from Ais' grasp and put the paper close to her face, with a shocked expression.

"He's really amazing, right Ais?" Tiona added.

"Hmn, its incredible" Ais replied.

Finn who was sitting behind his desk raised his eyebrows and said.

"Argonaut?"

"Captain, that's the nickname Tiona gave to that white haired brat" Tione immediately replied to her captain's question.

"Enough with this nickname nonesense, did you call us here just to talk about this crazy brat's abnormal level up or something?" Bete grumpily said.

Finn didn't get angry at his tone and just calmly replied.

"That is one part of the reason, the other is the news about the newly fast rising Celestial Familia" 

"Are you telling me that these two things are somehow connected?" A dwarf named Gareth said who was sitting at the side with Riveria.

"No, at least it doesn't point that way, I've sent investigations and found no connections between Ais' friend and the Celestial Familia"

"Isn't that the newly formed familia that I've been hearing about all day? What's the big deal? The god behind that familia probably just got lucky and managed to find adventurers that actually joined her faction" Bete said.

Finn sighed and put down some papers on his desk that contained photos of people as well as their information.

"Rick Harvord, level 2, Ikelos familia, I guess I should add former member, Anisha Giri, former member of the Ishtar familia, level 2, Stan Terra, level 1, former member of the Apophis familia...."

Finn continued to name some people as well as their level and former affiliation.

The people present there already caught on.

"This... aren't all of them came from troublesome familias? .. Don't tell me that this are all the people that this goddess named Celestia recruited into her familia?" Tiona asked.

"Exactly.. and the odd thing is that the gods who got their familia members taken didn't act or so to say it was like they were 'cool' with it and didn't show any reactions, they were fine getting their children taken away" Finn said.

"So you are saying that this Goddess Celestia made some sort of deal or trade in exchange for these adventurers?" Riveria added.

"I'm not really sure yet.. but I'll look further into the situation .... furthermore it looks like Freya's familia doesn't know anything either" Finn said.

"Why the hell are we worrying about some weaklings? So what if they gathered up together? If they cause trouble we'll just crush them" Bete angrily said.

"I don't understand what is going on but shouldn't we focus on our upcoming expedition? why are we worrying about these things? It's not like they are a threat to us with their level of strength" Tiona said.
