A silverback gorilla is a monster that can be found in the deeper part of the upper floors, Bell dealt and killed many of this type of monsters before.
According to Eina, a silverback gorilla requires at least late-mid level one to be able to kill it. Bell doesn't know how much stronger the golden variant was in front him, but seeing as the rampaging monster swatting away level 1s like it was swatting away flies and even level 2s getting injured, made Bell's scalp tingle.
All the confidence Bell had was dwindling down a bit but still stood firm. The Freya Familia went all out with this one, this particular monster was trained by Hedin, an executive of the Freya Familia.
Not only was this monster trained, they also fed it with piles and piles of magic stones, it was so many that it formed a tiny hill when it was stacked.
Originally, this monster only has a tiny and faint golden-colored fur on its back when it was found, but as it got stronger, the gold color spread and got shinier until all of its silver fur got turned into golden fur.
From a mid level one to swatting away level 1s and even injuring level 2s, its growth is very obvious, probably even faster than Bell's.
What's even more scary is that the monster itself was fighting in a way that is different from other silverback gorillas.
Bell's hesitation finally settled in until springing into action when he saw an adventurer that was about to get crushed but that didn't happen when Bell pushed him away into safety with both of them barely avoiding its attack.
"Hey we meet again" The adventurer said.
"Huh? Wha- It's you" Bell said.
They stared at each other for a while, they seemed to be acquainted, when another attack from the gorilla was about to hit, they moved out of the way very swiftly.
"Oh man, I just got discharged a few days ago and just when I finally have the time to enjoy myself, a freaking golden monster came running my way, I just hope Airmid-chan won't kill me" The adventurer said.
In response to the adventurer's words, Bell let out an awkward smile, mainly because he was the one who led the monster here and somehow got 'this' person involved.
"Sorry" Bell said.
The adventurer was about to ask why Bell apologized when those thoughts was cut short in an attempt to avoid another one of the gorilla's attack.
The monster was very big and even though its quite fast despite its size, its attack were easy to avoid as long you were perceptive enough to predict its attack, even after getting a huge power up.
After the adventurer moved away from its attack radius, it ignored him and went after Bell and was focusing its attack on him.
The adventurer saw this and was confused, it seemed like the monster was only after Bell and only attacked other people if it somehow got in the way. He himself got injured because he stood in the way when he saw the gorilla chasing after someone and the monster itself was stronger than what he had initially thought.
If it weren't for Bell's intervention, his injuries might have been worse. Looks like this is the second time he got saved by that person again.
"Fuck, the one time that I didn't bring my weapon" The adventurer said.
Gripping his broken arm, he just stood there and witnessed the fight between man and monster from the sidelines.
He could just join the fight and help Bell but it looked like Bell wasn't losing and the fact that he didn't bring his weapon and was injured just means that he will likely just get in the way, so he just watched and waited for an opportunity to use his magic at a decisive moment to end this quickly.
