Chapter 27: Hestia Knife? or Lostvayne, The Supreme Deity descends.

While Bell is currently diving into the depths of the dungeon. Hestia has been in a dogeza position for about a quarter of a day. A red haired beauty with an eyepatch was sitting across from her position, writing something on a parchment, trying to do her job as she tried to ignore her friend basically begging and throwing away any bit of pride and dignity she has as a god.

Because of the increased security in Orario, the Ganesha Familia's banquet of the gods in the original story never happened, they were too tense and their schedules were basically cramped, so much so that they had no time to party and relax.

But this doesn't stop Hestia from inaugurating the event that lead to the creation of the Hestia knife.

It wasn't until the clock had hit 3 o'clock that that the red haired goddess sitting across finally slammed her quill that she finally said "What do you want this time? Just so you know, I am not lending you a single valis"

Hearing her friend finally uttered some words after a long period of awkward silence, Hestia's body twitched, still in her dogeza position and she said "I don't need money, I finally found a reliable familia member that I can count on but I feel ashamed that I couldn't do anything to help him, please Hephaestus, I need your help to forge him a weapon."

Though she planned to eventually make an emotional appeal for Hephaestus to forge a weapon for Bell, hoping that their friendship would be enough to crack the former's armor and giving in to her begging. Due to the fast paced growth that Bell displayed, she forced herself to speed up this event to take place faster than normal.

Hearing her friend's plea, Hephaestus rubbed her temple from frustration to ease her headache that has been building up. During and after the time that the Supreme Deity released her magic that transported Meliodas to Danmachi. Her familia or more specifically she has been very busy dealing with requests on various orders from many familias. This was the reason why Welf wanted to wait a week to party up with Bell, if this wasn't the case he would've partied up with him almost immediately.

A lot of gods wanted their familia to prepare for any upcoming danger that might befall upon them, thus they tried to bolster as much power as they can, resulting in the traffic of weapons that they wanted to order. 

Despite this, she just couldn't ignore her friend basically begging like her life depended on it, if Takemikazuchi had been present, he would have been impressed by her form. Plus she was also curious about the person that had joined her friend's familia.

Releasing a sigh she said "Fine, but you'll have to pay me back later and you have to provide assistance."

Hearing this Hestia couldn't help but want to jump for joy but her aching knees prevented her from doing so. 

After she groggily attempted to stand up, she wiped off the dust that been accumulating on her clothes but despite this, she still has a smile on her face.

"So when do we begin?" Hestia says

"After I'm done with these paperwork then we can begin but first you have to tell me what kind of weapon that kid of yours uses"

Hestia nodded in response and began to tell her some the information needed for Hephaestus to forge Bell's weapon but not before praising and embellishing some of Bell's feats and achievements, she fully trusted her friend who she known for millions of years so she wasn't gonna hide some secrets about Bell's rapid growth and level up but she mostly just wanted to boast, the only thing she kept her mouth shut was about the existence of Meliodas.

While the two goddesses were busy discussing the topic about Bell's future weapon. The same person was busy bisecting a goblin. Once again, Bell was surprised how much he improved and how much easier it was to traverse and fight monsters now that he has proper set of gear and weapons.
