Annie was never one to openly display affection. She never gave PDA and she was always vocally shy about her feelings.

From the outside looking in, it looks like Annie is nothing but a cold, stoic woman, who didn't care about her partner.

But you knew how Annie felt about you.

And you also knew that what people thought about her wasn't true. At all.

True, Annie was a bit stoic, and she didn't like to display affection in public, but what people didn't know was that Annie Leonhart was needy. VERY needy.

Example 1

It was late one night and you and Annie had come back from a party. You guys didn't intend to stay that long, but between seeing your old friends and surrounded by good food (courtesy of Sasha's boyfriend Niccolo) you guys ended up staying hours after the party had ended, catching up with your friends. You throat was raw from talking all night, and your body was tired from all the joy and excitement.

Entering your shared apartment, you and Annie take your shoes off at the door and enter your shared bedroom. Taking off your accessories you make your way into the bathroom.

"I'm gonna have a quick shower before heading to bed" you say as you begin to close the door to the bathroom.

Suddenly a strong hand grabs the door before it can close.

"Not without me" Annie says, prying the door open before you could protest.

"Annie it's late and we're both tired. I'm just gonna take a quick shower. You should head to bed" you say as Annie closes the door behind her.

"I said not without me."

She has a serious look in her eye as she begins to undress. Complying to your girlfriends wishes, you yourself undress and start the water.

As the water heats to your liking, you step in and begin your routine. You're interrupted when a pair of arms wraps around you from the back; Annie's body pressed against yours. You stand still for a bit, letting yourself sink into her embrace, and you feel her arms tighten and she buries her face in your back.

"Let's wash now" she whispers, and you two continue the routine.

Once you and Annie had washed up and brushed your teeth, you get into your pjs and slip under the covers. Annie joins and wraps herself around you once again, quickly falling asleep. Snuggling into her embrace, you yourself fall asleep soon after.

Example 2

It was early in the evening and Annie was making dinner for the two of you. You tried your best to help, but because you weren't the best in the kitchen, you just stood there and handed her ingredients when she needed them. As she worked, you went up behind her and gave her a hug, just to show your appreciation for her cooking for you. Giving one last squeeze you begin to pull your arms away.

"Not yet" Annie says quickly, not even looking up from the food. Slightly confused you wrap your arms back around her and rest your head on her shoulder. She continued to cook, but never letting you let her go, even if she moved somewhere. Eventually you pulled away to get out some plates and cutlery, and she let out a grunt and looked at you with a frown.

"Relax Annie" you say with a small smile on your face. "I'm just getting some plates. We can cuddle more after dinner." Giving her a light peck on the lips you turn away to set the table, but once again, your actions are interrupted by Annie's voice.

"Wait."
"Again."

You smirk at her words, but when you look at her face you see she's dead serious; not embarrassed at all. Chuckling a little you lean back in and capture her lips in yours. She grabs your arm and hold you in a tight grip, not letting you break away. Eventually you both had to come up for air, but even after you broke away to breathe, she didn't release her grip on your arm.

"Again"

You lean in once more and give her a quick kiss before forcing yourself back. She pouts a little bit and tightens her grip.

"Annie!" You say. " the foods getting cold!"

Example 3

Panting and sweaty, you and Annie had just finished being...intimate. The feeling of euphoria slowly dissipating in your body, you lay back on the pillow and fully catch your breath. Closing your eyes and smiling yourself, you let your muscles relax and calm down.

Suddenly, Annie's slightly airy voice breaks the silence.

"Come here" she says gently, reaching over to grab your side and pull your body towards hers.

Rolling over, you lay yourself right up against her warm body. She grabs your head and guides you to lay on her chest.

"Annie stop I'm all sweaty" you say, slight embarrassment taking over you. Though she had felt your body several times in several states just as you had hers, you still felt embarrassed.

She tightens her grip around you body, trapping you in her embrace.

"You're not going anywhere y/n" your girlfriend says to you, staring at you with tenderness in her normally cold blue eyes.

Your felt your heart speed up a little bit and you lay your head back into her chest, feeling it rise and fall with her breathing. She stroked your head and ran her fingers up down your back gently. Letting yourself relax into the comfort, you feel yourself get tired.

Suddenly Annie grabs your cheeks and lifts your head to face her.

"Kiss me" she says quietly, staring at you with adoration. Even after all the activity earlier that night, she still demanded your affection.

But it was fine. You loved her.

Leaning up you smile before slowly enclosing your lips with hers. Her eyes close and you two share a soft kiss, tenderness and love being exchanged, the energy surrounding your bodies as the two of you broke away for air. Giving you one last loving look, Annie reaches and pulls the covers up fully over your two bodies, never letting up her grip on you. Rolling over so you two are on your side, she tucks your bodies even closer together and falls asleep. Shortly after you follow her into the realm of sleep.

You knew how Annie felt about you.

She craved your affection, she was needy, and she never liked to be separated from you. Clingy and a bit shy, she made up in private for the lack of affection she wouldn't give you in public.

You loved your needy girlfriend.
