As the Maknae of the group, Jisoo takes the role of Aera's mother. You can find her around Aera 24/7 making sure Aera has eaten and gone to bed early. When Aera first came to Korea, it was Jisoo who would help the young girl who was homesick and struggling with the customs in Korea. All of the girls are protective over Aera but Jisoo takes it to a whole different level and made it safe and welcome for Aera to go to her whenever she needs help or is in trouble. Aera will forever be Jisoo's baby. The two of them love to stay home and watch a movie while snuggling in bed and talking about gossip that's going on in the industry or anything going on in Aera's life.
Aera + Jennie = Older Sister/ Younger Sister

Jennie takes the role of Aera's older sister very seriously. Aera is Jisoo's baby so it's usually Jennie who has to discipline Aera when Aera's too much to handle. Aera can be scared of Jennie sometimes because Jennie isn't afraid to let Aera know what she is doing wrong. Though that's what makes Jennie so special to Aera because Jennie will always be straight up with her but at the same time guide her in the right direction. And when anyone messes with Aera, Jennie is the first to stick up and pick a fight with anyone who upsets the Maknae. The two love to go shopping together and buy out the whole store which has made the other members split them up for the two's sake as well as their bank account.
Aera + Rose = Middle Child With Baby

Aera and Rose can be the cutest and have the ultimate baby energy when together. Or they can switch it up in a second where they play fight and argue back in forth (in a joking matter of course). Aera usually gets her way in the arguments and fights because the others just can't help but pick their baby's side and scold Rose for fighting with the Maknae. Fans labeled Rose as the Middle Child in the group. The two do love to sing together and will often do their own version of Carpool Karaoke. These two also give some of the best Blackpink content because of their fights which makes everything funnier.

The most popular ship between the fans. These two together equals chaos. They love adventures and making jokes 24/7. Can often be found being chased by the managers and giving their managers grey hair for all the pranks they pull on them. Resulting in the managers making it a point to separate the two when they can. They love to sneak out without anyone knowing and going on little adventures late at night. But shuuusssshhhh (don't tell anyone)

As Maknae Aera tries her best to lighten the mood and crack jokes whenever she can to uplift the mood in the room. Even if Aera is having a bad day herself she puts on a smile that is sometimes fake and does her best to make her members laugh.
There's a viral video of Aera being upset and looking distant but once her Unnies come into the room she looks up and puts on a big smile (that fans could tell was fake) and makes a joke while dancing like a crazy lady making all of her members/staff in the room laugh.
