"Nice to meet you!" The man smiles at us while he takes a seat at the head of the table.

"I am John Janick, CEO of Interscope Records" He begins the meeting.

Rose grabs my hand for a quick squeeze under the table while we stay silent and let our managers introduce us.

"This is Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, Aera, and Rose..."

"This is Blackpink!" One of our managers speaks up while he holds his hands out towards us.

"Yes, I know" John answers with a nod, "We've all been watching you closely and enjoying everything you do"

Rose lets out a squeal while I and the rest of the members just smile and nod.

"Forgive me for being forward but there's just so much potential for all 5 of you and we believe strongly we can help you achieve that level of success you're all destined for."

I give another smile at the man while I look down at the table. I knew where this meeting was going to go and I knew this meeting was about to take hours and hours.

"Let me stop you right there" Our manager interjects, "We need to bring in the official owners of Blackpink" Our manager states referring to YG and all of the executives and higher-ups of our company.

"Oh no, go ahead" John agrees.

"I'll give you time to contact them" He excuses himself while he takes a folder with him.

"They want to sign us, don't they" Jennie states with a smile while she and Lisa do a little happy dance as soon as the man was out of the room.

"Is this something YG will agree to?" I lean in and ask our manager in a quiet voice.

"Depends on the profit and what they have to offer" Another manager answers my question while he begins typing on his computer fast.

Me and my members nod and cut back on our celebration, in case YG does not agree to this deal.

"Okay but how big would this be for us" Rose talks excitedly, "We could do more collabs with western artists!"

"You mean another song with Dua?" I add in with a smile.

Working with Dua and getting to meet her was huge for me and my members. It was so exciting getting to work with a western artist and getting to introduce her to Korea and the world of Kpop.

It was a fun time! Not to mention that "Kiss and Makeup" is now one of my favorite songs we have ever done.

"I want to work with Billie" Jennie chimes in with a pout while she looks at us.

"Ohhhh...Guys!....Eminem is signed here too!" Lisa shouts while she flips through a brochure we were given as soon as we entered the building.

"Huhh...ReALlY" Rose gasps and starts flipping through the brochure as well.

"Museun il-iya?" (What's happening?) Jisoo asks confused while she slouches down in her chair.

She was still sick and today was originally supposed to be an off day but our team was called and we were asked to come here to Interscope Records. I felt bad because Jisoo was meant to spend the whole day relaxing but now we were put in a meeting. Jisoo not knowing a lot of English surely didn't help as well.

"I'm sorry Unnie" I whisper to her while I rub her back that was aching. "I'm sorry you have to sit through a long meeting while your sick and to top it off you can't even understand what's going on"
