Stupid Dimples

"Jen...were here for you" Jisoo speaks softly while the rest of us cram outside Jennie's door.

The news broke this morning and I personally felt horrible that I had sort of...witnessed?... the breakup.

At least, I think that's what the serious conversation had been about. I knew it was a serious conversation yesterday but didn't think it was about them breaking up.

They were like the ultimate power couple.

I personally loved them together. I loved Jongin and I loved how Jennie had someone there for her in times of need.

Jennie opens the door to her room while she has her phone attached to her ear. She gives the person on the phone an okay before she walks past us.

"Manager is here" Is all Jennie says while she walks to the door.

We stand stunned. Jennie seemed to be fine on the outside. No tear marks, no red eyes, no puffiness.

She seemed completely normal.

...

But this was also Jennie we were talking about. The Queen of hiding her true feelings.

None of us push the conversation further and instead follow her out the dorm.

We would just have to wait for Jennie to come to us.

...

The car ride was silent the whole way to YG.

-------------------------------

Once we entered the building I hand my phone off to our manager and  we make our way to the fitting room.

Like last time I am weighted unlike the rest of my members.

I meet my target range of course, but the stylist gives me an apologetic smile before a woman from the higher-ups comes into the room.

I am asked to stand on one of the platforms where she begins to circle me... analyzing every part of my body.

I look to my members but the manager pulls them aside to talk to them about whatever.

The lady then lifts my shirt to take a look at my bare stomach, "let's have you hit the gym more" she says in a straight voice. While I stare at the ground.

She begins poking my abdomen, "These can be more defined" She says referring to my barely existent abs.

"It will be scheduled for later today" Is all she says before she walks out the door.

I stand stunned. I knew I was perfectly healthy right now, or at least as healthy as I can be considering my weight that was a bit too low for doctor's approval but enough for the company's approval.

I'm no athlete, I shouldn't need "abs"

"I think you're pretty now" A younger stylist whispers to me while she helps me off the platform.

I give her a warm smile, "Thank you"

Trying my best to hide my emotions... I put on a straight face as I make my way to the rest of the members who give apologetic smiles and the stylist begins bringing out our stage outfits.

We do dress rehearsals weekly to make sure our sizing is perfect and nothing can go wrong on stage.

By the time we were done trying on all stage outfits, my members were dismissed for a break while I was kept back to work out "To All The Boys" Promotion Outfits.

The next 6 months were going to be all touring. Then right after the tour, I fly back to America for promotions for the movie.

I had no time during those 6 months to fly back to Korea for fittings. We had to get the outfits ready now.
