Excuse Me?

"What?" I ask this time in a lower voice while Jennie shakes her head.

"Yeri and him DATED dated" Jennie reveals.

"What does that even mean?" I ask while taking a seat on the couch.

"They started dating when they were rookies and we're pretty serious Aria" Jennie explains while taking a seat in front of me.

Tilting my head, "And how do you know?" 

"Yeri and I are pretty close" Jennie says with a shrug, "I'm her Jisoo" Jennie nods her head.

I nod my head. Jennie is Yeri's Jisoo. Meaning just like I'm very very close to Jisoo and share everything with her, Jennie is that person for Yeri.

"Why did they break up?" I ask, my anger being replaced by confusion and a bit of sadness.

"They had a fight and in the heat of the moment... broke up" Jennie explains what Yeri told her.

"Aria" Jennie calls for me while grabbing my hand. "That's years and years of a relationship, you can't just butt in" Jennie softly says.

Taking my hand out of hers I sit back on the couch. "But they broke up" I say aloud "Jaehyun free to date others if he wants" I speak my thoughts.

Jennie tilts her head and raises an eyebrow, "Aren't you Yeri's friend?". Nodding my head, Jennie continues, "It's not okay to date your friend's ex" Jennie shakes her head, "Especially if they still are in love with them."

"She still loves him?" I say with my eyes wide open.

How come she never told me?

Why hasn't Jaehyun told me about his past?

Jaehyun knew I had never 'dated' anyone before but he also never said the same thing.

Was I the wrong one for assuming he also never dated?

"When did they break up?" I ask feeling a bit scared of the answer.

Jennie thinks for a second before answering, " I think like 5 or 6 months ago".

I open my mouth wide.

I quickly do the math in my head and sure enough, me and Jaehyun started talking 5 months ago.

I mean not TALKING talking until a good 4 months ago.

If Jennie is right then Jaehyun was just going through the breakup when we met each other.

Letting out a gasp, I remember back to the time I met Jaehyun.

In the restaurant. We were eating with Red Velvet, and having a great time with one another.

But then Yeri got really tense.

I remember I was going to ask her what was wrong but then... NCT came into the restaurant.

Was that why Yeri was upset?

After that, the conversation wasn't the same and we all ended the dinner.

Now it makes sense.

"I'm just a rebound huh?" I ask in a whisper while Jennie starts rubbing my arms up and down.

Jennie opens her mouth to say something but the door opens and the girls walk in with food in their hands, cutting our conversation short but not my thoughts.

I knew Jaheyun was a good person.

But how could he move on so quickly?
