Harry sighed, flopping down on the couch in his apartment. He had made it through two weeks of school, and he was fairly unharmed. He had a couple scratches from being shoved into lockers, and his eyes still had a faint itch to them from the slushy, but it was nothing Harry Potter couldn't deal with.He wondered why he was getting harassed. Wasn't the principle supposed to prevent this kind stuff? It's like he didn't care about the Glee Club students, or anyone at the school for that matter. But it didn't bother him. He had his group of friends, and that was all he needed to thrive in this new environment.
A knock sounded at the door, and it made Harry's head spiral in confusion. Who would be coming to his door? Answering his own question, he walked over, and opened it.
"Harry," Blaine choked. He was limping slightly, his hand resting on his thigh. On his paling face were many bruises, all near his right eye.
Harry's mouth opened in shock, and he pulled Blaine inside, resting him on the couch he had only been sitting on seconds prior. After that, Harry had no idea what to do. He had no medical supplies in the house - nothing to ease pain, or even cover up wounds. Instead, he decided on figuring out what had actually happened. "Blaine, what ha-"
"My Dad." He said simply, trying to sit up, but cringing when it hurt and sitting back down. "I-I was in my room, looking at some messages from Kurt, and he came in and took my phone and read all my m-messages. Then that's when he-"
Harry shook his head. "No, you don't have to say anything more about that. How did you get here? Do you still have your phone?"
"I snatched my phone back and took off in my car." Blaine explained, tears starting to run down his swollen cheeks. "I didn't go to Kurt's because he was out on a family dinner. I texted him, but he didn't answer."
Harry nodded understandingly. "I want you to stay here." He said in the calmest voice possible. "I'm going to run to the store and get some stuff for your head. I'll be back as soon as I can."
Blaine nodded gratefully, and Harry left the apartment, and walked to the nearest store. He bought a ton of medical supplies - bandages, Tylenol, ice packs - anything he could think of that might ease the pain. He ran back to his home, and got in. Blaine let out a sigh of relief.
"How are you feeling?" Harry asked, walking over to the kitchen to put the ice packs in the freezer.
Blaine chuckled, a cough leaving his throat. "The same. My legs not too bad, just my eye."
Harry got some ice, popping it into a plastic bag. It would have to do for now. "Here," he said, holding the bag to Blaine's eye. "Keep this here. I'm going to call Kurt."
Pulling out his phone, Harry dialed Kurt's number. He didn't pick up at first, but after a couple tries he did.
"Harry," he said with an annoyed sigh. "What is it this time? I hope you didn't spill something on your new shirt. That thing cost-"
"It's Blaine. His dad-"
"I'll be right at your apartment." Kurt replied, almost robotically. He hung up, and Harry let out a sigh of relief.
Harry turned back to Blaine. "Is he coming?" He asked softly, the remnants of tears stained on his cheeks. He looked so innocent, in a way Harry hadn't seen before in him.
"Yeah." He said with a smile. Blaine out a sigh of relief, sagging his shoulders against the armrest of the couch. "You really love him, don't you?"
Blaine blushed, the yellowing bruises on his face almost covering it. "He's the love of my life." He said, almost in a whisper. "I don't think I'll ever find another person like him. He's one of a kind Harry, and I hope one day you find someone like that."
