The more practices for the musical, the more anxious Harry got. And when he had heard that the tickets for opening night had sold out, that was the last straw. Stress pulled at his stomach more and more, until the day came. Opening night.

Harry was allowed to leave school a couple periods early to get ready for the musical, which was the one thing he was most grateful for. He sat through an hour of getting his hair and makeup done, including the covering of his scar.

"Leave it," he said to Kurt, maybe a bit too forcefully.

"Are you sure?"

Harry paused. "Yeah."

Kurt shrugged and continued with smathering stuff over his face. Harry looked around the room, trying not to move his head too much. He saw Ginny, who was currently getting her hair done by Quinn. Harry smiled at her, slightly turning his head, then Kurt slapped it back in place. He heard Ginny giggle quietly.

Soon, Blaine came in, carrying a small box. His hair was done in the Danny style, but he wasn't wearing the costume, instead his regular clothes. Kurt would probably get his hair and makeup done closer to the time of his part on stage, as he didn't go on until closer to the middle of the musical.

"Here are the contacts for your eyes." Blaine said. "Ginny said your vision was pretty bad without the glasses."

"Thanks."

Harry was grateful for the contacts, as he wouldn't be able to see a thing without his regular circular glasses. But when he put them on, and looked in the mirror, he realized that they turned his eyes blue. He studied his reflection, noticing how different he looked without his signature green eyes.

"Now, I know you don't like changing your appearance, but-" Kurt started.

"No, it's great. I wouldn't have thought of that," he said, forcing a smile.

Blaine smiled, then walked over to the other stations, where the other people got ready.

Kurt backed up a bit from the chair, looked at Harry, then nodded in approval. "Yep, you're done. Now don't touch your face!"

Harry stood up, and started pacing around the the backstage area. He took deep breaths, just like he did for his callback, and told himself encouraging words.

This was going to be fine, he thought. Everything was going to be fine. Just fine.

He was not fine.

Peeking out of the curtain, Harry saw that the seats were all indeed full. He saw a row of people in Dalton blazers, which Harry recognized from Sectionals. They were probably there for Blaine.

Kurt came up behind him. "Sebastian, the one in the center, with the light brown CW hair and horse teeth. He's totally in love with Blaine, and I'm starting to think I'm losing him to that smirky little meerkat."

"I don't know what that means, but I do know which one your talking about. I remember him from Sectionals. And, don't pay attention to him. Blaine loves you. Whenever we text, you're like the only person he ever talks about."

Blushing, Kurt replied, "I don't know, I mean, I'm pretty sure he texts Sebastian a lot. More than me."

"Talk to him about it. That's the best way to figure something out. If he really loves you, he'll show it. And he does. You don't have to worry about it."

"Places everyone!" Tina yelled from somewhere backstage, and Harry's breath caught in his chest.

Blaine walked over before Harry could move from his position. "You got this, now come on, first scene remember?" he paused, as if thinking about what to say. "If you feel like you can't do it, just look at me. I'll help you."
