It was another day at William McKinley High School - a day much like the rest of them. But after classes ended and Harry walked through the choir room door, something was different. Three pianos were lined up in the front of the room, each a different shade of royal purple. His eyes widened and he stopped walking for a second, his eyes adjusting to the change, then he walked to his chair and took a seat next to Blaine."Hello everyone!" Mr. Schuester said happily. "As you can see, we have some pianos in this room."
"My Dad donated them. But we're so rich we could've just bought them ourselves." Sugar cut in proudly, crossing her arms in front of her chest. People rolled their eyes around the room, letting out exasperated sighs.
Mr. Schue paused, then continued. "Well, it's the new year, and we want some new members. We already have Harry, which is great, but it would be nice to find some more talent in this school."
"So, I still don't know what the pianos are for." Finn said uncertainly.
"Well, if we're going to find new members, we need to inspire them with a performance. I'm going to place these pianos around the school, and whenever you see them, I want you to sing a song." Mr. Schue answered, gesturing to the lined up pianos.
Harry smiled. This was going to be fun, he thought. Not only would it help him with his singing and performing, hopefully the Glee Club would get a couple more members
"But I have another thing to bring to your attention," continued the teacher. "Songs for Sectionals. Even though it is ways away, we should start brainstorming so we have a head start."
Then, Rachel piped up. "Great! I already have a ton of ideas. Me and Finn and sing a duet, then maybe we could do an energetic group number that highlights my talent-"
"No Rachel. I was thinking we feature some of our other members at the competition." His gaze trailed off to Harry.
Harry's mouth widened in shock, and he lifted his hand in protest. "No, I'm definitely not ready for that. I just got here!" He exclaimed.
"Well, I think you're more than ready." Blaine said. "Your voice is insane."
"I agree with Blaine." Mr. Schue nodded. "Start looking for songs to sing, you might get a solo."
The room erupted in applause, and Harry smiled guiltily. Blaine squeezed his shoulder.

It was lunch the next day, and Harry stumbled into the cafeteria. The first thing that caught his eye was a purple piano in the corner of the large room. He sat down at the table.
"Guys, why are you ignoring the purple piano? We need to do our number!" Harry said quickly. Everyone looked up at him.
Mercedes sighed. "Mr. Schue is crazy for putting the piano in the cafeteria. It's hard enough surviving lunch, if we perform in here, we're going to get slushied."
"I agree with Harry," Rachel said, nodding her head violently. "We need new members. If we don't do this number then we won't find anybody new. And it lowers our chances of winning Nationals." She nodded her head at the band, and they started the music.
After they finished their rendition of You Got the Beat, the room was dead silent. No one said a word, or even moved their foot. Then suddenly, a boy with a large afro yelled, "Food fight!"
Cheerleaders ran out of the cafeteria, and the room was engulfed in chaos. Food was being thrown everywhere, most of it in the direction of the Glee Club at the front. Rachel was high-pitch screaming, and Kurt was on the ground, a lunch tray in front of his face. Brittany was spinning around in a pool of spaghetti sauce on the ground.
