"I Need Help!"

Harry Potter was freaking out.

He paced around his bedroom, his loud footsteps the least of his concerns as worries consumed his brain. To distract himself, he pulled out his phone, and reread the text Ginny sent just five minutes earlier.

Hey Harry! You said I could text you any time, so I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Lima Bean at like 5 today? It's totally okay if you don't though.

He had responded with a meager: Yeah, that sounds great. See you there.

Glancing at the clock on his bedside table, he concluded that he had two hours to figure out what to wear, what to say, and everything you needed to know for a date. Desperate for some help, Harry frantically dialed Blaine's number.

"Harry?" Blaine said from the other side of the phone.

"I asked Ginny on a date," he said, trying to keep his voice as even as possible. "I need help!"

Blaine squealed. "Finally something I can help you with! Kurt! It's Harry, he finally asked out Ginny!" Someone shuffled over. "Hang on Harry, I'm putting you on speakerphone."

There was a sharp silence, then Blaine said, "Ok. First of all, have you ever been on a date before?"

"No."

"Wait," Kurt cut in. "First, I'm going to tell you how mine and Blaine's first date went."

Blaine sighed lovingly, and Harry chuckled.

"Well, first I told him how handsome he looked, then I took him to BreadstiX. The thing about dates, is you should learn a lot about the person. That day, I learned about Blaine's unhealthy obsession with bowties."

Harry could almost see Blaine's scarlet blush.

"So, basically just ask a lot of questions?"

"Well don't look creepy," Kurt mused. "But yes."

Ok, that shouldn't be that hard. I mean, if him and Ginny were going to get closer, than he would need to know some things about her.

"So, is your date formal or casual?" Blaine asked.

Harry replied, "Casual? We're just going to the Lima Bean."

"Ok, we're coming over. You need more help than I originally thought . . ." Kurt said dramatically, then hung up the phone without further conversation.

Harry blinked, then sat his phone down with a thump. He continued pacing, thinking about things to talk about. Then, a knock sounded at the door. He opened it, and both Kurt and Blaine stormed in.

"We are going to invade your wardrobe." Blaine explained, flashing Harry an apologetic smile.

"Well, you only have about-" Harry checked his watch. "An hour and fifteen minutes until I have to leave."

What!" Kurt exclaimed. "You should've called us earlier! Well, we have to use what we have. There's no time to waste!" He clapped his hands once.

Over the next half and hour, Kurt and Blaine made Harry try on more outfit combinations than he thought he had worn in his life.

"There, that's the perfect one." Blaine said proudly, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

Kurt nodded. "Yep, definitely." He agreed.

Harry was wearing a grey v-neck short sleeved shirt, with black jeans that Kurt said matched his hair. Kurt had also said that they were going to leave his hair alone, as styling it would prove too much of a challenge.
